Never mind. In ferreting out the origin of this “chart” it’s apparently a sneaky penis size enhancement site via “exercises”, so the preference info might need to be taken with pickup truck sized grain of salt.

Some of the things on that site looked worthy of taking seriously, but a lot of it looked like horse cock. Horse cock is a good phrase, because I think that’s what they photoshopped into the pictures of those guys. This page URL=http://www.penissizedebate.com/page21_vaginal-orgasm.htm is especially laughable. Why’s that guy at the bottom crying? Probably because he would break any woman he had sex with.
I doubt that that many women prefer 10 inches plus. In fact, I hold that it’s a myth that most women love huge penises. Past a certain point, maybe 8 inches?- I haven’t done any research in a while- it’s uncomfortable at best and sometimes even painful. And forget about doing it a second time, or in the morning- I’ll be in pain for the rest of the next day. No thanks.
I’ll freely admit that I have never taken out the tape measure*. Any guy want to admit he has?
*But I’ll guess that I’m at least on the chart.
I have. The actual measurement is private information (privates information?), but I will say that I have rather large hands and feet.
I am reminded of the fellow who took a girl back to his place. When he undressed, the girl smirked and asked who he thought he was going to pleasure with THAT little thing. He just smiled and said: “Me.”
The smallest circumference was four inches. FOUR INCHES? Isn’t that kind of huge?
No, thats about 1.2" in diameter. Pretty small, from where I’m sitting.
I admit I have measured myself, and I am not ashamed to post my size… 5.5 inches long, and 6.5 inches girth (circumference).
Doesn’t this correlate to women’s cup sizes? Women talk about their cup sizes all the time on this board. Anytime a boob-related thread pops up, the posts starts to look like my brother’s report card.
Of course, the problem with charts like that is that it’s impossible for them to be accurate. At least for me, in the midst of hot monkey sex, it seems kind of awkward to say “Um, honey, can you hold on for a minute? I gotta go get my tape measure.”
I can easily believe that the chart originated from a place selling penis enlargement stuff – it’s prejudiced to a greater length than women have stated in other places I’ve seen this addressed, and the language the chart uses seems more than a bit biased (“satisfying, but not ideal”)
But it does look like women made it – it reminds me of one of those damned Pantyhose Size Charts.
My main contention with this is that I’m dubious as to whether the women surveyed actually knew the lengths/girths of the penises they were expressing preferences for or whether they were guestimating. Joking aside people are often bad at getting units of measurement right by sight alone.
Another great example of this is height - I’m 5’7, I know this because I’ve been measured with an actual height measure and I could see all the inches there for myself. However lots of people work out their own height based on what other people tell them their height is and assume that person knows correctly i.e. “I must be about 5’10 because Bob is 6’0 and I’m not much shorter than him” when in fact Bob is only 5’10 making you something like 5’7/8.
I went on a date with a guy recently who listed his height as 5’9 but he was actually shorter than me.
Of the small handful of men I have slept with there was a wide range of sizes, the largest of which was 9" (he actually made me get out the tape measure because he didn’t believe that he could be big enough to be hitting my cervix during sex) and the smallest of which was by my guess about 4".
I would say that 6", give or take an inch, is just about the perfect size, but that honestly size is not nearly as important as how well you use what you’ve got. Some of the best sex I ever had was with the least endowed of my partners, not to mention I have had some pretty good sex with women on occasion and none of them had a penis at all!
Well, that’s actually what the chart says, too. The “Ideal” spots are in the middle of the curiously penis-shaped graph, in red. The ideal range is 7.25-8.5" in length and 6.25-6.5 in circumference. Which, actually, does sound about perfectly perfect.
I’m visualizing a Mary Poppins-style measuring tape, with “Practically Perfect in Every Way” at the 7.25"-8.5" marks.
(Which I still think is too big, based on what I’ve heard)
Since “none” isn’t a choice, a certain number of women’s preference is missing from the chart.
When exactly during sex do women stop to measure things? Do they keep measuring tape by their bedside?
Well, no, but I know how long my hand is (6.5" from wrist to middle finger tip) and my hands are often in proximity to the item in question. I find that a bit over a full handslength for me is what I like best IF you assume only average ability.
Why the hell would I care what other chicks think about how big/small my junk is? As long as Flanderchick is happy (which she is), then that’s all I need. She’s all of 5’2" and 103lbs so what is she going to do with a 9" cock but poke holes in her abdomen.
My wife and I (and some former girlfriends and I) have measured- 5-7/8" from front base to tip; I don’t know the circumference although from what I’ve seen in porn, I’m fairly wide.
Regardless of the measurement, it’s enough to satisfy all who have bothered to comment on it, and if it wasn’t enough, they kept quiet. I regularly bottom out in my wife but she doesn’t find it uncomfortable.
I can’t open the link at work.
Just to be clear the site is quite clever re inducing people to try it’s remedies. As a sophisticated wild assed guess (based on stats I’ve read elsewhere) probably about 60% +/- of American men are in the the 5.25" - 6.25" range so saying that 7"+ penis is “ideal” (and it may well be for some women) puts the majority of his prospect sales pool just 1 inch or so away from “ideal” perfection, purportedly achievable via exercises etc.
It’s a diabolically clever blend of fact and fiction to induce uncertainty in men, but FWIW I’m almost certain it’s all created by the site owner, and I strongly doubt any actual data collection re female preferences was ever performed. It’s all a sales job.
