Trump has made the US a global laughingstock (to the extent a clown with nuclear weapons can be considered funny). Get used to it.
My Panamanian friends all think it’s absolutely hilarious that the US now has a president who fits the caricature of a Latin American strongman to a tee. The US will never be able to ridicule a Latin American regime again.
Indeed. At a recent local pro wrestling match, one of the wrestlers, who styles himself as the “All-American”–was greeted by the crowd thusly: “You suck, just like Trump! You suck, just like Trump!” And so on.
Now, it is true that the All-American is a bad guy (in pro wrestling parlance, a heel), so he is easy to hate. But the crowd’s hate has never taken on political tones before; it’s always been just boos and hisses. I’ve never heard them compare any wrestler, not even the All-American, to any political figure before.
except #17 is a warning that (Western) Europe isn’t laughing.
they might be following.
Nigel Farage and Brexit, along with Geert Wilders, Marine Le Pen, and Norbert Hofer being credible candidates in their own countries is proof that if you think you can just sit back and laugh you’re missing the point entirely. they’ve got their own “Mexicans” (refugees from the Levant) over there and the nationalist backlash is growing.
I understand that this is now SOP for the Democrat collective. They are embarrassed that they fooled themselves into believing that Hillary could not lose. And then she did. The Democrat collective will eventually get a grip on their embarrassment, but their hater status won’t end. I’m already “used to” that. SSDD.
The U.S.A. will always be able to ridicule some Latin American regime. Especially Panama.
“Countries”? These are the opinions of 17 cartoonists. The question is whether the cartoonists can/can not speak/read English (any variation)? Or did someone pay them to draw specific cartoons for publication?
I have a large sea shell collection which I keep scattered on beaches all over the world. Maybe you’ve seen it?

You appreciate whatever other people tell you to appreciate. You may appreciate these cartoons differently than others do. To each their own, I say, unless you believe that everyone must follow the popular/Democrat Groupthink.
17 people doodled caricatures of Trump. yawn Do you consider these 17 doodlers to be representative of their countries? Or do these 17 doodlers only represent their own feelings?
