The Chicago White Sox will beat the Atlanta Braves in six games.
Ooooh, you were so close Jab.
The correct answer is the New York Mets beat the Chicago White Sox in six games.
Thanks for playing.
the boston red sox will win, in game 7, against…
You all are so close, but, it’s gonna be…
NEW YORK YANKEES over the Braves in 6 games.
You poor, silly bastard.
Yankees over Mets in a revival of the Subway Series.
Eat your heart out, the rest of the country!
And when it’s done, I predict that Manhattan will tell me he will mail me the sports sections from the NYC papers and never do it!
(I’m just messin’ with you, Manny. Please don’t ban me… ;))

Braves over Angels in . . . 5.
I’ll go further than that, even.
NL

2-Mets
3-Cardinals
4-Diamondbacks
AL
1-ChiSox
2-Yankees
3-Seattle
4-Angels
Round one/DS: Braves over D-Backs in 4
Cardinals over Mets in 5
Yankees over Seattle in 3
Angels over Chisox in 5
Round two/LS: Braves over Cardinals in 6
Angels over Yankees in 7
Round 3/WS: Braves over Angels in 5
White Sox vs. Braves
Braves in 7
Well, since the playoffs are going to begin next week, I thought I’d return this to the top of the list.
And I still stand by my prediction.
Gotta go with another Bay bridge series. Giants over Oakland in 6. Just leave the earthquake out of it this time!
As a lifelong Yankee fan, my heart says The Bombers over the Braves or Giants.
However, the Yanks ain’t lookin’ so good lately…
rocking chair, did you eat some bad clam chowdah?
The Red Sox? You must be high.
And R-Dog, if you want your Mets in the Series, you better hope you don’t run into the Braves!!!
Royals in the 3rd period winning by a 2 point conversion.
Since I have already paid for the tickets (and I wouldn’t mind experiencing a major earthquake) I am going to pick:
Athletics (whoo!) over the Giants in 7.
Well, the AL wild card is getting mighty interesting, as is the NL west. And as I don’t care to go around searching for the wild card race . . . I’ll still say that the Braves will beat Toronto in a rematch of . . . '92.
I’m sticking with this prediction.
Yankees over Braves in 4, baby.
GO NYY!
Yankees and Braves
Yankees win.
So what’s new?
Giants over White Sox in five.
I’ll post in a couple of days, and when I do, I’ll predict that the Indians… um… never mind.
Pardon me – but all you folks making predictions for the AL might want to hold your horses. This pennant-race between Seattle, Cleveland and Oakland is tight!!
And what’s this about the Yankees, mm? They haven’t been living up to their reputation this year. I mean – if we’re looking at percentages, Chicago, Cleveland, Oakland and Seattle are ahead of NY right now.
Me? I’m rooting for Oakland 'cause damnit, I just spent $1,500 securing post-game tickets. I’ve never seen a World Series before. I just hope they can get past the White Sox!!! [biting fingernails!!]
