No offense, aha, but you might want to start thinking “quality” over “quantity.” This isn’t a sweepstakes.
You seem to be making a concerted effort of late to become the most prolific poster. Including this one, you’ve got four Pit threads on the first page. Two of them (this one and this one) are just plain blather for blather’s sake, and a third one was the SDMB equivalent of The Simpsons or Huey Lewis and the News-- a good idea at one point that eventually wore thin from overexposure.
Just so you don’t get the impression that I don’t like you, since I did jump on you in the genuinely Pit-worthy continental breakfast thread, I’ll say that I think you’re an asset to the board, and in other fora, you make some interesting contributions. But a review of the threads above suggests that your Pit presence is being greeted with a fair amount of antipathy, largely because your threads are often devoid of any purpose.
Maybe it’s time to slow down a little. You’re averaging a good 200 posts a month. A lot of people liked Notthemama at the beginning, but even the most sparkling conversationalist wears out his welcome at 6+ posts a day.
