The Quick and the Dead.
A western starring Leonardo Di Caprio and Sharon Stone.
retch.
The Bodyguard

The English Patient.
I agree with Elaine Benes: “Why don’t you DIE already??!?”
I’d have to say “Four Rooms” or “For the Boys”.
Eeeuuuh…
“It’s only common sense,
There are no accidents 'round here.”
Well…I’m new here, but I’ll just jump in.
I’ve seen plenty of terrible movies, but I watched “Life” with Eddie Murphy last night and it was pretty bad. It was pretty much a rip off of “Cool Hand Luke”.
thanks!

So I can dine.”
Nothing but Trouble.
Dan Aykroyd, in addition to writing and directing this stinker, plays a crazy hundred-year-old judge as well as a fat mutant creature. You also get to see John Candy in drag. Ew.

Um…if you guys rank “Life” and “The Quick and the Dead” as two of the worst movies ever, you must not have seen many movies. We’re not talking movies that you disliked, name something horrible! Ya bastids.
On that note, I will obnoxiously refrain from posting my own opinion. Thank you.
“Kiss Her Goodbye,” anyone?
I would refer you back to my MPSIMS thread of several months ago on this cinematic poke in the eye with a sharp stick, but the Search function seems to be down. Should it resurrect itself soon, I’ll post a link.
Let’s just say it makes “Plan Nine from Outer Space” look like “Shindler’s List.”
This has to be the SD’s most popular topic. What is this, the fifth installemt, sixth?
Anyway, Cabin Boy is my vote. How can you respect a movie, that tries to be as cheesy as possible?
200 Cigarettes
I have no idea how they got A-list actors to agree to this movie.
Beaches with Bette Midler
Can any man actually enjoy this movie? I like sappy movies but this was a kick in the crotch as drivel goes!
-SS
I can’t stand it. It’s like mindrape.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.
Watching the movie Nixon was on par with having shock therapy while sitting in a tub of piranhas.
Mullinator, I will have to agree with you. Excuse me for quoting myself, but a year or two ago in Movieline I wrote about watching a kiddie video with a two-year old. “She reacted to it the same way I react to Oliver Stone films,” I said. “She cried for awhile, then drifted off to sleep.”
I’d have to say Phenomenon (John Travolta, Kyra Sedgwick). It sucked a lot and I paid to see it.
“I am so smart, I am so smart, s-m-r-t, i mean s-m-a-r-t”
Can’t name just one:
A Walk in the Clouds
Beaches
The Man in the Iron Mask (the Leonardo Dicaprio version)
Can you say barf?
Earnest Goes to Camp (or anything with that Earnest guy or the Olsen twins). I actually watched whilst under some severe inebriation years ago. I will let you guys decide what I was on after I tell you that I thought it was a wonderful documentary of societal angst focusing on the prepubescent years. Whilst under the inebriation I actually thought it was a good movie but when I tried to watch it again I thought killing myself would have given me a better time.
HUGS!

PS. The most popular threads to be the “who is your favourite poster threads.” There should be another one coming up soon. Hmmmm… maybe I should do one.
The only thing that comes to my mind at the moment is Island of Dr. Moreau…the one with Val Kilmer…I saw the first version when I was a kid and that movie was just awesome.
Unfortunately for some posters here, when it comes to the “worst movie” of all time, it depends on whether we are talking about the worst movie you have ever seen that bored you to tears or caused you to retch your popcorn on the hea dof th eperson in front of you, or the worse movie according to writing, performance, direction, etc. If it’s the latter, than some movies mentioned here do not techinically qualify.
I’m a cinephile and bibliophile, so hopefully that gives me some credit to understanding story & character…errr…something.
My throw in this is Hanover Street with Harrison Ford. Terrible in all aspects and not in the least bit entertaining.
