It’s because of people like this as for why God has abandoned America, Suntan.
When did Americans become such pussies? Mexicans and Guatemalans will literally risk death of themselves and their children to come over here, while pansy-ass Democrats in Democrat cities that should be paradise and have been controlled by Democrats for 30 years will burn their cities to the ground for what? Cause Mom and Dad didn’t put enough money in their trust funds for tattoos and piercings,
Hahhaha
The sock is getting pathetic.
To his credit, I was unaware of America’s systemic problems with underfunded trust fund babies.
I’ve been asking myself this question a lot in recent years - not because Democrats are fearful but because Republicans have, at the instigation of FoxNews and its fellow travellers, become the party of fear and hatred. Look at the recent RNC for clear examples - the messaging was not what Republicans will do for America, but rather that the Democrats want to open the borders, let black people move into your neighborhood, take all your money and destroy the economy. Their entire message is “Be afraid!” And all the Trump supporters I know have bought into this terrified petty worldview hook, line and sinker.
You know, words have actual meanings. “Communist”, “socialist” and “fascist” are represent three distinct ideologies, some of which are diametrically opposed to others. They don’t just mean “anything I don’t like” and they certainly aren’t interchangeable. Two of the three also don’t remotely apply to the Democratic Party and the third - “socialist” - only applies to an extreme fringe of which Joe Biden isn’t remotely a member and even Bernie Sanders is to the right of.
Conversely, the Republican Party is working strongly toward implementing actual fascism in America. Not “Naziism” per se, but an American version of it in a similar mold, created by a Republican Party heavily aided by a foreign adversary that knows that all it has to do is keep the far-right-wing in power and it will destroy America all by itself.
You say you don’t want to be part of an “authoritarian regime” but you’re voting for one that has actively undermined the justice and electoral system, has held rallies calling for their political opponents to be attacked, and are now sending right-wing “militia” to attack left-wing protesters and escalate unrest and then claim that only they can restore law and order (much in the way the Nazis used to do). Perhaps if you understood what “fascism” actually was, these things might be a little more obvious to you.
As already pointed out, America needs political parties representing different viewpoints in order to keep the excesses of both (or of all of them, if more than two) in check. But it requires both parties to act with a reasonable degree of good faith and the intent to aid and preserve the country. Right now, one of them has repeatedly demonstrated a willingness to harm America as long as they themselves benefit in the short-term.
To borrow a metaphor from Terry Pratchett, political rivals may well try to push each other out of the boat, but only a madman would put a hole in the bottom. The modern GOP has had their guns out and have been blowing holes in the hull for years, and then laughing because the libtards are getting their feet wet.
Some states mandate you wear shoes and a top in restaurants. Do you froth at the mouth about that too?
Some restaurants even go as far as specifying what top to wear. Very common to see buffet places banning the sleeveless look, at least before COVID when everyone went up to serve themselves. Don’t want sweat dripping into the food, y’know.
It’s not a difference of opinion, it’s a difference in morality.
Pussy. Real men don’t wear pants.
If you think that’s wrong, why? If you think that your morals are more important than the lives of others, why?
Heh. I just used “you think” and “your morals” while talking about you. I’m funny.
If a quarter of america’s adult population suddenly dropped dead, that would be a lot of corpses to clean up. If they simply vanished from existence, that would be cleaner, but there would still be some problems in the short term.
Some planes would probably go down.
Tens of thousands of cars would promptly crash. (Admittedly, often involving no fatalities due to lack of occupants.)
Some power plants would be suddenly missing critical staff.
Numerous children and babies would find themselves without parents or caretakers.
The shipping industry would probably take a substantial hit, and not just from the immediate loss of shipments due to suddenly-driverless trucks. Logistics and management would probably spin completely out of control.
Some whole towns would be reduced to a handful of adults presiding a horde of <18 year olds.
Mass panic over the unexplained event, even in democrat areas.
And most importantly, one or both of my parents would be gone.
So no, I don’t want all the republicans to die or vanish. It would be nice if they grew some brains and morals, though.
If, say, you count it as around fifty million (counting the right-wingers conservatively), averaging probably about 250lbs each, they could probably be rendered down to biodiesel at about 100 to the refined barrel, giving us maybe half a million barrels. Without their assistance, we would probably go through that in a little under a week. The lees might make useful fertilizer for forest lands.
Solyent Green. The food scientists would need to work on the rancid and bitter taste, though.
I would imagine the amount of type 2 diabetes in the demographic would sweeten the taste a bit.
Good to see how inclusive and tolerant the Democrats Are towards other ideas. How they want to listen to opinions that vary from theirs without loosing their shit. Well done.
Nice, sexist to start it off, and I personally prefer to wear no clothes unless it is cold.
Sorry, unless I contact a virus and pick someone up there is pretty much no chance anyone will be infected by me not wearing a mask while I am driving in town or on the freeway. A virus has a really hard time of going through doors and either jumping into the other lane or leaping hundreds of yards in front of you. Especially on the freeway, viruses failed track in high school so they do not have the lower body strength needed to leap tall buildings in a single bound. Risk assessment is hard I know, better to vote demorat and let them think for you…
The good news is if you are going to a demorat approved protest/riot you can’t spread the virus, who knew? You will only harm yourself, and you will show the strength of your convictions, especially once the protest ends and the rioting starts (the Arby’s on 5th messed up my order, torch it please). Now if you are going to a protest about businesses/places of assembly being shutdown and people being put out of work arbitrarily, then you are a racist fascist who will get millions of people killed by spreading something they might not even have around.
Yes my morals are more important to me than a fake/nearly impossible outcome made up by a demorat loser. Now if you truly believe that spreading a virus around while in one vehicle to someone in another vehicle (or i guess to someone on the side of the road) while driving down the road is likely/possible, you might want to lock your doors and never leave your place of residence. There is more than one virus out there, and you will never have 100% certainty of never getting sick until the day you die, and then it unfortunately no longer matters. Learn how to avoid unnecessary risk with out being stupid.
Do you accept without question all demands from the government because some are totalitarian regimes?
Since the Republican line on people with “other ideas” has for decades been demanding that people leave the country and/or insisting that the dissenters be all either locked up or rounded up and shot, I can only assume your objection is based on brand infringement.
But I could be wrong - in fact I’m sure that you personally have also objected to such behavior when Republicans do it, because you are clearly a person of high principle.
Things are gonna come to a head soon. I think the election will do it. The republicans have been demonizing democrats for years - it doesn’t help that many of them are very religious and think they’re on God’s side. Now, I think democrats are starting to see republicans as monstrous, evil - and it doesn’t help that they are crooked, criminal, and actually do monstrous things.
When you’re on God’s side, you can justify anything, and you can’t compromise because anyone against you is working for the side of evil. Now it seems democrats are tired of compromising too, since doing so continuously takes the country in a direction they don’t want. It’s dragged ever rightward.
Nothing good can happen when both sides despise each other, and compromise is no longer an option. When politics break down, what do you do? We’re seeing a taste of it now, in the streets.
Funny how anyone who thinks the Republican Party is a shitshow must somehow therefore be a Democrat. According to the long-running gallup survey, Democrats account for only about 30% of respondents. Republicans account for a few percentage points less than that. The Neithers are consistently in the 40%+ range.
Two-thirds to three-quarters of the country prefers not to be associated with the affliction of Republiopathy. Most of those people are not avowed Democrats, so just stop accusing everyone who dislikes Republicans of being Democrats or Demorats or Demonrats or whatever you will, because it is just not working.
Yep pretty much.
