Would bite your hand off. Been to nudist events, enjoyed them, would love to be naked more often, with and without other people. Not the least bothered by seeing others naked, and frankly find the whole don’t-want-to-see-ugly-people-naked thing to be disrespectful (not mentioned much so far but a common argument against this sort of thing). Have no kids yet but would have no problems there either, though I’m not sure fiancee would agree. Full-time clothing-optional life is fine by me!
I wouldn’t mind working and living amongst nudists, but until they invent a shower that dispenses sun screen, this extremely fair-complected girl is not going bare.
I used to work in porn. You get used to nudity, even hot nudity, very quickly, and it becomes as normal. I’d take the job and housing.
But I don’t think I’d ever go naked myself, though I suppose it’s remotely possible I’d change my mind after some time of being in that environment, it seems unlikely.
I’m with aceplace57. I have no trouble believing that sexualisation of nudity is a social construct, soon I’d get used to it, etc - that’s the problem! I enjoy my nudity fetish too much to just go and normalise it.
That said, I don’t feel that strongly about it, it’s just that I’m pretty happy with the work I do now and how it pays. If I really wanted a better job or more money, I could probably get over the above mentioned reservations.
You wouldn’t have these problems if you’d just boobytrap your front walk.
When I was a retail manager, I lived within trivial walking distance of the store, so I I became the store manager’s go-to person for things like checking out alarms at night, coming in when it was snowing, et cetera. The solution is a) Never to answer the phone without checking caller ID first, and b) being such a jackass that people have to weigh the costs & benefits of asking you for anything in the first place. It’s what I call strategic rudeness.
Looks like someone is doing this for real, or at least claiming to (came up on my RSS feed today - small world!) http : //www.theregister.co.uk/2011/04/04/web_coders/ (NSFW to be on the safe side).
Is that 90 minutes each way, or 90 minutes round trip?
Because 3 hours in the car each day would be a dealbreaker, regardless of the other conditions.
Or it could be a reason to take the housing offer.
The fact that they’re specifically recruiting female web coders instead of wed coders in general makes me very suspicious. :dubious:
While I’d be happy to take the housing offer, my wife would veto that in a heartbeat. Don’t know that she’d be that keen on my working at a nudist colony, but that might be negotiable. However, she definitely wouldn’t want to live in one.
Nudity I have no problem with. But a 90-minute drive each way is a deal-breaker.
Yeah, I just don’t have it in me to be a jackass all the time. I use it like a claw; it’s there when I need it, but most of the time it’s invisible.
