As opposed to the others in this thread, I’m very close to the line of detesting cats, so I find this absolutely hysterical.
I think the only reason I would ever get a cat is to dress it up like that and put it on display.

I think they’re cute, actually, but I hope those things are elasticized around the neck. Anyway, my kitties would tolerate it for a minute but then off their neckwear would go, to be pounced upon, pummeled, and slobbered on, and eventually to take refuge with the dust bunnies under the couch.
I thought the ‘elk’ one was kinda styling.
In my experience, those things would have to be made of kevlar to last more than a few minutes. Put me in the camp that thinks it’s really funny, though.
Oh dear. Those poor things. What an awesomely wicked pick-me-up for the afternoon! I will have to send this to my boyfriend. He will fall over laughing.
I have a good friend who ridicules his cat often, and then says, “It’s a good thing my cat doesn’t speak English. He would have killed me in my sleep years ago.” I wouldn’t be surprised if any of THOSE kitties did the same.
Gaaahhh! No Wonder the damn things bite your toes when you sleep.
Aw, but c’mon! Look at the sheepie!
who’s the kee-yoote widdle sheepie! You are! Yes, you are!
Funny- yes- because they are basicly harmless. But you are cruising to find some cat poo in your shoe if you do this, i warn you.
What kind of cats are those, with the little flop ears? Are they an asian breed?
They look like Scottish Folds.l
AAAAWWWW!!!
The white one looks almost EXACTLY like Noel-only Noel’s right eye is blue and she’s skinnier.
For this production of Fiddler on the Roof, the part of Chava will be played by Snowball.
meowchmaker, meowchmaker, make me a meowch…
Thats so horrible it’s hilarious!
This one is by far the worst, though. Just look at the terror in its eyes!

This one is a close second:

My mom had some leftover yarn after knitting a sweater so she whipped up a cardigan for the cat. After he wrestled it off he dragged it right in front of his box and kicked all the litter out onto it.
I agree with Adoptamom_II Them kitties is zooted!
I like my cats nekkid, thank you very much. Mine would never tolerate such degrading outerwear. I tried to put a collar on Dolphie once, and she did contortions that would put Circe de Soleil to shame. I can’t imagine there are kitties who would allow themselves to be dolled up like that, but I guess it takes all kinds.
That is adorable. No, I wouldn’t do it to my cat, but mainly because it looks like too much work. But if someone gave me the little outfit, and I was going out with the cat to a costume party… then again, that doesn’t sound like a very probably chain of events.
Well, my dog did just get some Mardi Gras beads. But we only put them on her because she doesnt seem to mind.
This one is going right up on my wall. Captured on film, the exact moment a cat goes insane. Do you think this fellow ever rejoined the world with the aid of drugs and therapy? Or is the little guy still…catatonic? Ah ha ha ha, cat-atonic… coz’ it’s a cat! —What?!
Now this guy is beyond terror; he’s seeing into a completely different dimension of Lovecraftian darkness. The puffball collar has totally destroyed this cat’s tiny mind as well as his belief in a just and benevolent God.
