So I’m at work the other day. I’m on the elevator. It’s just me and a lady.
When we get to our floor, the door opens up and there’s a guy standing there waiting to get in. This is the short transaction that took place:
Him: “Whoa! 7 minutes in heaven?” [steps onto elevator]
Her: [laughs] “That’s a good one.”
Me: “What the heck was he talking about?”
Her: “My shirts on inside out. He was insinuating that we were making out in the elevator.”
Me: [just now realizing her shirts on inside out] “Oh, heh, that would certainly be the highlight of my day.”
Both: [laughs]
This got me to thinking about all those silly games we used to play as teenagers.
Why the heck did we ever grow out of spin the bottle? Even if I was in a committed relationship I don’t think this would bother me under the confines of the game.
Swinging, is a little too over the top for me personally, but STB? in the right company? Why the heck not?
So what do you guys think? (I admit, I’m feeling a little nostalgic right now.)
If I was unattached, yeah. Not while in a relationship though, and I’d consider doing so cheating.
Although if I did play, I’m sure it’d be just like 5th grade all over again where the person who spun and landed on me refused to kiss me. So it’s probably best I don’t play at all ever.
I’m also gonna put myself under the “only if I were unattached” caveat. Too much baggage when there’s a partner involved. Even if I was attached while playing, I’d want my partner to be present so he could know what I was doing and with whom, and I’d expect the same of him.
This would stop me from playing it, I think. Of course if it was summer time (not flu season) and I was single, a wee tipsy, and surrounded by 8 gorgeous swedish chicks… maybe then.
