This is a claim made in a 1991 tell-all book written by a disgruntled former employee which was reported by the Huffington Post. When challenged on the authenticity of this second-hand information, neither the article’s writer nor the Huffington Post itself would return a request for comment.
Trump himself has stated that the quote was “written by a fired and totally disgruntled former employee who was terrible at the job he did and I hardly knew.”

Man, that was really a very weak non debunking, the best one could say was that it was more of a “He said” “I said” situation, but declaring that Trump never said it needs more support than Trump saying “because I did not said so”. The article anyhow points out other issues and that in the case of rental discrimination Trump found out that, just like Joe Arpaio, trying to get around court orders or settlements is not amusing to the Justice Department.
And it was mostly the Justice Department during the Nixon, Ford and Ronald Reagan administrations the ones that were not amused, The Carter one had a bit of it too.
