Wow! Amazing story about a Cubs catcher...

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/chi-02-cubs-brite-chicagosep02,0,7206897.story Check out this story about Koyie Hill, a catcher for the Cubs who accidentally severed 4 of the fingers on his right hand with a table saw! They sewed them back on, and he’s back at Wrigely in uniform today. Amazing!

It leaves me wondering…is this the reason Geovany Soto was called up? How weird!

(And why doesn’t the hyperlink button give me an option anymore for the text I want to show for the link? I’ll have to figure out how to do that now.)

Bob and Len talked about this yesterday during the game. Really pretty amazing.

PS. How did you like Gonzalo’s singing at the seventh inning stretch? I thought it was better than 90% of the other singers!

Did they? I wasn’t paying too much attention, as my husband and I were installing a ceiling fan and some light fixtures at the time!

I did catch that…he was great! And such a true Cubs fan. On the other hand, felt sorry for Eric Karros the day before. OMG, was he awful. But he took it well.

Sorry, double post.
