On a phone, portrait is when you hold the phone vertically. Landscape takes hold when you turn the phone 90° horizontally and the screen flips so that it is wider than it is long. If you have a widescreen monitor on your PC, that’s like landscape on a phone.
I suspect if you untick the master check box under User Profile, it will be the reverse, only show if you then tick the box below your reply. Not sure, though, since I haven’t tried it out yet.
It’s also more than $10.00 by almost 50%.
Nope, the box is checked and I have sigs disabled.
ETA: So my preference overrides the checked box.
Let’s see with Quick Reply.
ETA:It also overrides the checked box in Quick Reply.
Yes, I just checked it out and discovered I’m wrong about what I said before. It looks like you can disable all sigs, but yours is going to show up (if you have one) unless you untick the box under ‘Reply’ each time.
Or you could just delete your sig.
This isn’t a complaint about the forum change so much as a snarky laugh at Flat UI as demonstrated here: Just noticed that the page number navigation is stupid. There’s no more highlighting to indicate which page you’re looking at (because highlighting is bad as per Flat UI), so they had to add a “Page x of y” next to it. Everybody who knows anything about user experience is wincing and/or laughing hysterically right now.
We are all seeing your sig, but you are not, coach.
Right?
Holy shit this is bad. So so bad.
So so bad that if they revert back to the old appearance, nobody will ever complain about anything again.

I don’t see no stinkin’ sig.
Boy, is this a mess.
I can’t decide which change I loathe the most. The big blue bars between posts are truly hideous and distracting. The non-functional ads for an obsolete device are just stupid. The red boxes beside new threads are garish and seem to have little purpose.
This looks like absolute shit on an iPhone.
The fonts are way too big and the blue bars are huge and are nothing but an eyesore. The floating bar at the bottom gets in the way.
I’d pay to have the previous version back. This looks extremely cheap and old-fashioned.
And here is something I am not sure was mentioned, there are no longer any dates or times saying when a thread was last posted to! What idiot thought that was a good choice?
Do you see anyone’s sigs? Can you see a sig in this post, for instance?
The only option I see in the control panel is show signatures in thread display options. This shows or hides everyone’s sigs when you look at posts. It doesn’t affect whether your posts have a sig included.
Reading this on a PC; Chrome.

[li]The giant purple-blue bars need to be made much paler and the information they contain (post number and date and time) should be rendered in black.[/li]
[li]It’s massively annoying to have the “last post” and “replies” and “views” information unaligned. [/li]
[li]It’s also massively annoying to have the Subscribed Thread icon be so extremely pale–it’s like a ghost of its former self.[/li][/ul]
These all seem like relatively easy coding changes. (But what do I know?) I’m not crazy about the floating arrow, or about the disparity in font size for quoted bits (and bullet-point lists!) versus posts, or about the quoted bits being rendered in italics—but the bullet-pointed items are the ones I care about most.
I’m seeing them as normal. Anyone else not seeing them?
I’m seeing them, but the info in the Last Post column is on two lines for me. Date and time is the first line, who made the last post is below it.
Weighing in…
Things are objectively harder to read on mobile (iOS/Safari) and desktop (Windows Opera or Chrome) for me. By “objectively” I mean that there is lots of whitespace, fonts are smaller, and less content appears on the screen. There are many subjectively bad things, and a few in-between (e.g., the big blue bars that I might get used to but they seem objectively poorly designed to me).
A few other changes seem like actual bugs, so I’ll report them in the other thread.
Fortunately, it hasn’t changed how it looks on Tapatalk.

Fonts are bigger on iOS in Safari, enough that I no longer have to turn my phone to landscape to read threads from farther than 12" away. This seems like an odd “objective” complaint.
Unless you’re talking about a few fonts here and there, as opposed to post content. 95% of what I’m reading on the forum is other people’s posts so that’s generally all I care about.
