Wow-Thursday morning and no Survivor thread?

When Andrew Savage was on The Early Show last week, he denied Lil’s claim that he didn’t tell her who he was voting for before her first ouster.

He said that not only did he apologetically tell her he was going to have to vote for her, but she even told him where she’d stacked some firewood near the camp, because she knew she wouldn’t be coming back from Tribal Council.

Seems plausible to me. Andrew wasn’t a great player by any means, but he always seemed like a straight shooter to me. I think Lil has a selective memory, feeding her martyr complex.

Sorry, Fiver, but it seems highly implausible to me. If Andrew had told Lill he was going to vote against her, why didn’t he defend himself when she accused him otherwise in this week’s episode? My guess is Andrew probably said something to Lill that was vague enough that she wouldn’t see her removal coming but he could later use to justify to himself that he had kept his word.

I can’t figure out why she doesn’t just cut them off, like others have done. It’s not like they’re going to be any good when she gets back home, anyway.

Probably because she never had access to scissors or any kind of sewing kit. I mean, Rupert and Co. weren’t able to make any alterations to their clothes until they got that sewing kit from the RC.

Come to think of it, I don’t even think the Morgans had a knife.

Although, now that the tribes are merged, she might be able to use the Drakes’ sewing kit (I think she’s gotten so used to taking her pants off though, that she probably won’t bother.)

Not true. Rupert’s original blue flowered mini-skirt came from a cut-off piece of Krista’s dress.

In addition, I think Andrew cut off his suit to make shorts (I could be wrong).

Well, didn’t they just tear a strip off? When I said alterations, I meant they actually put some time into it (through the use of the kit).

And Darrah’s cut up her dress, too. And I think Ryan has cut up something of his (pants, maybe?) to make shorts. She should be able to find a sharp rock to cut them off.

Just a reminder folks. This guy’s a lawyer. What Nemo describes is the kinda thing we do best!

True, but I don’t think you need to be a lawyer, or even particularly clever, to fool old Lil. My impression is that she tends to hear what she wants to hear. Which is why it was so easy for Burton to lead her on with vague statements.

I have no concrete proof he did that, but I believe he did, as I discussed earlier. He said “If you vote with us, I think we can go far.” She interpreted that (as he probably knew she would) as a commitment to take her to the final two, which it obviously wasn’t.
