So, we’re in agreement there are no frozen hamburger pizzas anymore?
Any idea why not? They used to be everywhere. It’s not like hamburger is some rare delicacy. It’s freakin hamburger.
I’d forgotten to post at the time but I did make an effort to look when this thread was new. I’m not a frozen pizza customer myself but I do go to a lot of groceries and only found ONE hamburger pizza out of maybe 10 places. It was a Jack’s or Tombstone and at a Walmart or Target-type mass market, I’m sorry I forgot which. I think I spotted a nonfrozen burger pie at Aldi or maybe Trader Joe’s.
I wrote directly to Jack’s. They discontinued Hamburger only pizza in December 2023.(that explains why I haven’t seen it in my 18 month search) They recommended Cheeseburger style as a close match. Told them Hamburger pizza was a real thing here in the Midwest. …so there goes another favorite fun snack.
I never understood hamburger as a pizza topping. Compared to Italian sausage, pepperoni, or even ham, the hamburger just isn’t bring much to the party. But as a fellow pizzaholic, I lament the loss of your hamburger pizza.
