Hmmm… about two and a half years now. That’s counting that time I spoke of earlier which sounds like I was seducing him but was all rather innocent. Really. 
Speaking of puking, that’s what I did a few days ago. Haven’t done that in some time. Wasn’t as Earth shaking bad as I remembered dreading. The thing I forgot about though is how much your chest hurts for the next day from heaving.

Although I am listed as being a member since 2001, I really didn’t begin posting with any regularity until about 2-3 months ago. Not even lurking, just never used membership and never came to the board. So I am new to these MMP, any real rules or sort of traditions that we are made sure to follow?

HAPPY HUMP DAY!
Once again, I was awoken an hour early by incessant mewling from EvilCat. Sprayed her good though, and she went hiding under the bed for the next 45 minutes, allowing me to get at least most of the rest of my sleep in before she started up again. And I remembered to take my chili for lunch today, so yum. I even have a leftover packet of Louisiana hot sauce to add to it! (The wife doesn’t like spicy so I have to spice mine up after the fact)
I also bought some replacement foam tips for my Shure IEMs, plus a set of triple-flange tips just to try. So far I like the foam tips best because they stay the hell put when inserted and don’t slide around or give inconsistent sound like the Flex tips do, so my daily iPodding has been a lot more pleasant of late. My eMusic subscription refreshes tomorrow too, so I get to download 95 more tunes!
BooFae - KITTY!!! Cute little runt, he is. Why Duracell though? I don’t see no copper top. Or is it just that he’s very reliable when emergency workers need to be assured that their portable defibrillator will be sufficiently powered?

Rigs - Well, there was the incident with Spats and that mime – ho, man, that mime had it coming, but the sausage cannon was totally unexpected. Then there was that guy who streaked through the thread wearing nothing but a fedora and a Christmas stocking. I don’t think I need to rehash that one. Oh, and The Great Lonk stopped by for a visit.
So, yeah. That’s about it.
But you should also have a record of informing them that their credit was declined. That way your butt is completely covered.

Welcome to the MMP! First you get a nickname…hmmm… bb maybe? Others will weigh in then we’ll come to a consensus (or not) then you’ll be nicknamed. Oh and send [del]the old broad[/del] FCM some chocolates. Other than that, just jump right in. There is no such thing as on topic up in here. The MMP exists so we can post all kinds of MPSIMS and TMI stream of consciousness type stuff so we don’t all go posting gazillions of threads per week on our great thoughts. Also, we share good and bad news and just generally kinda sorta like each other a lot.
My sinuses hurt. I’m considering going home and ingesting Benadryl[sup]TM[/sup] and napping for a while. Plus it’s rainy here today. Warm and rainy. Weird warm… like possibly stormy later on warm.
So far it’s a pukeless day, so there is that.

Because he never stops! Ms Weekends and I went to see him when he was still at the breeder’s, we must have played with him and his littermates for two hours solid. The rest of them were worn out and settling down for a nice sleep, but he was having none of it. I think by the time we left, he was just starting to tire a bit but nowhere near enough to warrant a full-on kittensnooze.
I did try to convince her to call him “Ever Ready” because the vets that we use always call out the pet’s name and your surname…so he’d be “Ever Ready Image”. Sorry, it just amused me. OK, so I’m easily amused. So what?

Oh, we’ve got one of those too. 
The first time I get yelled at by a customer for something we didn’t do, I make the hell sure we do it the next time.
As I may have mentioned somewhere earlier in the thread, I spent Thanksgiving telling my mother that I know she’d like to buy me an iPod for Christmas or my birthday, but I’ve got an MP3 player, and it’s fine, I don’t need an iPod. The next day, it broke. Grr. Of course, I’m willing to admit I dropped it from the bell tower down to the hallway floor below. I take full responsibility. But now the screen no longer works, so I have no idea what I’m about to listen to and can’t pick songs if I can’t see them. And this morning, I discovered a new malfunction–occasionally, it will play a second or two of the previous random song in the middle of the song I’m listening to. It may even have been doing this for a couple days, and I never noticed because it was so quick. But while listening to Ella Fitzgerald, I suddenly started hearing snippets of Guns N Roses. That’s somewhat surreal.
I hope Mom hasn’t bought me anything else yet.

Well, the jeans issue, at least for today, is a non-issue. I managed to get stuff on both of my good pairs of jeans within two days of washing them. Soooo… even if I wanted to wear them today, I couldn’t. But yeah, I think I’ll be honest and not wear jeans since I didn’t pay for the priviledge.
There was a happy hour last night for a couple people who are leaving the company. They both used to sit in my cube quad (4 cubes together in a big cube) so I went. But I’m just not good at group socialization and said/did things that seem stupid as soon as I said/did them. Ugh. This is why I don’t do stuff with more than 2-3 other people at a time. I want to be one of the Cool Kids in real life, but I just don’t think it’s in the cards. Yeah, I know the way to get better at it is to practice, practice, practice, but that would involve many more stupid things being said/done before getting better, and that just seems too high a price. I think I’ll just go be a misanthropic hermit.
I have some M&M’s in my pocket… she doesn’t want those.
