Wikipedia says there is an X-Men Origins: Magneto movie in the works.

I did some googling. It sounds like everything pins on the success or failure of the Wolverine movie. If it does well, we could see Magneto (and Xavier) as well as possibly a Deadpool and X-Men: First Class detailing the early days of Xavier’s School for Gifted Students.
Well it’s not like there isn’t enough X-Men material to do sequals and such for the next thousand years.
Yeah, but I’d prefer they hurry up and do it all in my lifetime.
I’m betting it’s gonna be “not awful, not going to win any awards for anything, but will make geeks around the world squee like little girls.”
Not that that was my reaction when I saw that the trailer was out, nope.
I’m pretty sure this isn’t true and that Ice Man and Angel were a part of the initial team in X-Men #1.

That’s what he was saying. He was talking about how the movies differ from the Earth-616 comics.
I misread shy guy’s post the same way the first time, but what he’s saying is that’s true for the movies (which it is*), which is one way the movies diverges from the comics.
- Well, I’m not sure if Scott and Jean are actually so much older than Warren, but they’re definitely significantly older than Bobby, and War wasn’t introduced to the X-Men until the third movie.
