Hmmm … the board froze OJ … then Lionel Mandrake shows up, and his VERY FIRST message is one directed at OJ and “instructing him” on how to be a better troll.
I’m suspecting more and more that OJ and Mandrake are the same person.

In Freemasonry, there’s a very similar wording used to identify one Mason to another… IIRC, “Oh God, is there no help for the widow’s son?”
Undoubtedly just a strange coincidence. But weird.
I think Mandrake was trying to imply that he had Masonic connections, but he got the phrasing wrong. I can’t wait until he claims Boy Scout membership, and flashes the Vulcan “Live Long and Prosper!” sign to prove it.

It means that for once, and perhaps for the only time, we managed not to get down in the gutter and wallow with the trolls and morons. Usually we argue with them, and start threads about them in the pit, so that they will know that their childish pranks are more powerful than our own thought and reason.

Actually, the OJSimpson poster appeared in numerous threads in several (all?) Fora. As far as I know, only Mandrake has addressed it in any way.

Not an hour after you tentatively asked if he was gone, he pops back up in “A country founded on Christianity” again (link in OP above).
It’s like horror movies, people. The first time you think you’re safe again is always a false sense of security. These things have to be put down again and again before they die, and then they just show up under a different name for the sequel.

Well, where do we start? I thank you for reappearing, Mr. Mandrake. We’ve had quite a rush of trolls in the first two months of this year and the dismissal factor is running high amongst board members. That combined with last week’s hack of the board has got a little twitch in all.
Your reappearance begs the question: are you really just a troll or a newbie who needs to learn a bit about the tone of discourse that works here? I’m willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, for now.
