Yippee Skippee!!!
I designed my first print ad today! Don’t take me wrong I am a web designer, but when you only have so much spaced to go on it’s a hard task!
I am almost positive my client/friend is gonna go for it! Whooo hoooo.
Man I like it when I can do something like this. It may not be New York advertising material but I must say I am proud of what I have accomplished so far. We still have some graphics to change and such, but whoo hoo!
<beaming from ear to ear>
er space, got a little excited there
Congrats. Hope it leads to many more clients.

I am mega mega crappy at print art. But it is generally assumed by the majority populous that all artists do everything artistic, so I’ve been asked to do stuff for print a few times here and there.
The whole concept of it is so different to web graphics or drawing in black ink, that it totally loses me. But I’ve managed to fake it reasonably well a few times anyways.

The funny thing is, don’t laugh as I am an almost MCSE (I hate tests) but I get Microsoft products el cheapo (Premium version of Office 2000 for 103.00 direct from MS)
Anyhow, I did the ad in Publisher. It’s not the best, but hey it works for me and my brother works for an advert company and can get it printed camera ready cheap
Thanks for the kudos
