11:20 PM and snowing like nuts here. Light, powdery stuff, but definitely steady.
Been watching it from my balcony. Cold but way pretty. Got food, booze, cigs, and tasty Swiss Miss fat-free hot chocolate, so we’re set. I’m a-stayin’ home if it’s bad tomorrow. I done learned my lesson about taking the car out in the snow!!
Well, that was pathetic.
Up the mountain we had at best an inch and a half.

I crap bigger than that snowfall.
In Middle River, Maryland (just north of Balt.) I got a hair less than an inch. In Rockville (where I work), about a half inch.
not even enough to take off work to get a 4 day weekend 
I don’t even get Monday off.

About an inch and a half, maybe two. As Hamadryad pointed out to me:

The heavy snow was supposed to last till at least 4 a.m., but I woke up at 3:32 and had to close my curtains due to the glare from the moon!

Schools were 2 hours late here as well. I didn’t mind, it let me sleep in 
Man, that did suck. I was all excited and everything, and for what, what, I ask you?? Well, I still had some hot chocolate, so it wasn’t a total loss!
Sounds like this weekend will make up for it. Possible 4 inches tonight, 4 more tomorrow and another storm on the way for Sunday. We may have a total of at least a foot by Monday morning.
Of course, that’s for us down here around DC. You Baltimoreans probably won’t get much.
For a while I was worrying that we might get ice on Saturday. Pray for snow!
