Seems like that c0ck sucker George Lucas wants to sale off a prop that was not used by Yoda in Star Wars episode II as he was created in the computer CGI Yoda and lightsaber, yet there is prop that is up for bidding and the price for what might be just a piece of tin and plastic toy parts glued together, all comes in wooden box, sigh what gives.
He rips off the fans last year with that crappy tatty star wars bluray box set that is only good enough as paperweight.

I’m going to go ahead and give the OP the benefit of the doubt that he’s genuinely incensed that someone is selling a lightsaber on line, and that he’s not just trying to pimp his own eBay auctions.
This doubt will dry up pretty quick if he posts any more links like this.

The team at Lucasfilms has donated this amazing high end replica of Yoda’s lightsaber as featured in Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones. Master Replicas’ VP of Product Development, Steve Dymszo, originally produced the lightsaber, and his model appears in the Episode I Visual Dictionary. Eventually, that design was adapted by Lucasfilm and used in Attack of the Clones. Amazingly no physical lightsaber prop was ever produced for filming because the Yoda character and his lightsaber were both completely computer generated for the first time ever in a Star Wars movie.

They specifically SAY it’s a replica of the CG model. It’s in no way dishonest. Or even strage. At all. Replicas of movie and cartoon objects are made all the time. Somewhere I accidentally ran into a $5000 licensed version of Vash the Stampede’s coat from Trigun. Is that evil because Trigun is animation and therefore the coat never really existed?
What about toys made of the CG dinosaurs in Jurassic Park? Or toys from Toy Story. Or toys from… any non-human character in an action movie in the past 10-15 years?
[li] It’s for charity. That doesn’t necessarily make it altruistic (it’s a calculated publicity stunt), but in only very rare circumstances can donating an object like this to a Charity Drive make someone a cock sucker. And this is certainly not one of them.[/ul][/li]
So yeah, either you’re having the most asinine fanboi fueled outrage ever, or this is cleverly disguised spam.
I’m really confused. This guy knows enough about the SDMB to know what the Pit is the proper forum for this, but not enough to realize that he can say “cock”?
I don’t blame you as I’m in the same boat and yes I’m new but I assure you, I’m not a scum spammer. The eBay is quiet legit. But its bullshit. Pisses me off after last year, as paying consumer that gets milked, as with the rest of the consumers.
You can say cock big huge humongous large cock! Well, my, my a forum that actually caters for my words can I say the C word if, it had proper meaning to a rant, you it rimes with Good morning Mr. Hunt, your mission should you chose to accept it.
