Here, Bossk is angered at given Light Beer in Michelob Golden Draft, period. Got that, fuckwad?. In 37 replies, none of them are his, just the OP.
When Bossk wanted to sell his underwear, he posted the OP and never returned. Although, to be fair there were only 5 replies total, but why the hell was this in the Pit to begin with?
Another short-lived thread, this one with only 6 replies, about a child molesting film director. Again though, the OP is posted, the OPer doesn’t return.
When Bossk invites us to get a load of THIS asshole, he returns to the thread once. Why? It doesn’t have anything to do with the OP of course. Miller had posted something questioning the point of the OP, so Bossk returns - not to answer the questions asked by Miller - but to post a half-assed personal attack of sorts. (Now where have we seen this before?)
This one’s questionable - The Three Stooges. It’s been closed with no replies so it may have been a reply to a different thread that was accidentally started as its own thread. But, if this was intended to be a thread on its own, why couldn’t it have been put in IMHO or Cafe Society without the “fuck you” at the end?
The obnoxious teen at BK and When Ugly Girls Rewad threads has been linked to already. I’d just like people to read what he does there again. After the OP, he strays from the OP to play with personal attacks.
I see nothing to show anything other than what we have here is a hit and run poster who seems as if he’s hanging around the Pit just to pick fights.
He’s got an inferiority complex, is all. I picture him as being this spoiled ten-year-old kid, pounding on the dinner table, screaming at the top of his lungs, “I want ice cream, I want ice cream!” And when someone says “No, you can’t have ice cream,” he begins wailing “I hate you I hate you I hate you!” and then throws a temper tantrum on the floor.
Personally, I think he just harbors a lot of negativity against the world. It’s sad, really. But he resists any efforts to help him. I’ve tried to give the guy a hand up, many times, and he just smacks it away, snarling.
Anyone who’s read the Bounty Hunter Wars will know that his handle is extremely appropriate.

Crunchy Frog, first of all, why would you do a search of his posts for the last 60 days, when he clearly has only been a registered member since October, which if you do a little simple math (or maybe it’s not so simple for you) you’ll realize that he could only have posts that go back 30-38 days or so (depending on the day he actually registered ~ which if you’re taking the time to look at all his posts, I would think you looked close enough at his profile to see the exact date he signed up)? Secondly, I want you to show me where in the SDMB “handbook” it says that you have to go back and monitor the threads you start. Is there some rule that says you must go back and see if someone responded to you? Is there also a rule that says that you have to answer each and every reply? For those of us whose lives to not exist solely on these boards, we may not get back to it, not only that, we may actually just not give a flying fuck.
So Mr. Bossk is crass. So he’s opinionated and says whatever he’s thinking. If you dislike it so much, don’t read the threads he starts. How hard is that? Unless you’ve got a different set up than me, the thread listing in every forum states who started the thread (yes, for the slower ones in the group, that was extreme sarcasm). If you choose not to read his threads, that should cut down on your problem ten fold.

Now I can do a search for the past 60 days, which would cover any overlap (see cuz a search for 30 days would not cover days if he had registered early in the month) or I could waste a step by looking at his profile, get the exact date and do a search for 30 days. My way saved time and I still got the info I wanted. See, not that hard to figure out.
Hit and run thread starters are usually the work of trolls. There may not be a rule against it, but it is suspicious, especially when your responses to those threads are personal attacks and do not respond to the OP.

I’m with Crunchy… why didn’t you throw your own party instead of crashing this one? You could have sent out a group invitation to the people you addressed here and I’m sure they all would have shown up. That would make for a really entertaining party.
And BossK is nowhere to be seen, I find it rude that to have had someone throw a party in his dishonour, invite people, and have him not show up to entertain us with his clever and quick witted commentary.
Actually, he’s neither clever or quick witted but he has offended a large number of people on the board. Many of his “quick witted” comments were entirely uncalled for and he’s now reaping the whirlwind.
I have to say that when I saw this thread I was not at all surprised having just read through some of BossK’s recent posts.

Granted, the “Dropping the Cosby kids off at the pool” statement may have been construed as racist, but if he had changed “Cosby” to “Brady”, wouldn’t we have all wondered what the hell he had been eating? I, too, would like to see evidence of this “clique”. I see the word thrown about so often, yet by a tiny, tiny, TINY number of people. If we were so “clique-ish”, then you’d think that, with the almost-19,000 people here, there’d be more than a dozen people who’ve noticed it.
Know what I think the “clique” really is? People who don’t like assholes. Period. And then an asshole - such as Bossk - comes along, can’t comprehend that he’s an asshole (hey, we’ve already established that he’s got the intelligence of dried platypus poop), and instead of trying to suck up and learn how to NOT be an asshole, he needs to salve his wounded ego and say, “THEY’RE the problem, not ME!”
And then we get a couple of people who defend the guy. Hey, it’s bound to happen. But what a defense! Vague allusions, no cites, support for the sake of support, “different for the sake of difference”. Let’s see some SPECIFICS, Devil May Care and Howgoesit. Others in this thread have been kind enough to be VERY specific reasons why Bossk is severely lacking in the “non-asshole” department… if you wish to defend the guy, please, present your counter-critique in kind. Because I guarantee you, every time people have tried to give Bossk an inch, he’s tried to take a yard.
