Hey all you Nickelodeon freaks!
Does anybody out there know what happened to the hillariously disgusting show “You Can’t Do That on Television” from the ‘old days’ of Nickelodeon? What happened to it? Does anybody have any information on the show’s whereabouts? I’ve tried the Nick site, but they don’t leave any way to contact them. Please help me!

It was a Canadian production that was made from 1979-1990. So by the time it aired on Nickelodeon, it was no longer being produced.
Remember a little girl named Alanis on YCDTOT? About 11-12 years old. That was Alanis Morissette, a decade before her man-hating “Jagged Little Pill” was released.
One of the better kids shows, sometime in the early 1980’s they stopped filming for reasons I don’t know. Many of the cast members went on to do other television related projects. This was a Canadian show, so you may not see any of those actors on programs here in the states. I believe Christien “Moose” McGlade is now producing some sitcome.
I heard talk that some of the old cast members & producers would like to bring the show back

The episodes You saw in the U.S. in the early '80s were actually filmed in the late 1970’s! Only a select few were shown here, and believe it or not, many were not allowed to be shown here because of content!! (Like a bus driver drinking whiskey while taking kids to school!! I saw it in Windsor! Hillarious!!)
You might try web searching under the name of the show, instead of just Nickolodeon. Good luck!
