Hi folks. Catamount here, reporting from the outer bands of the hurricane. Yes, I still live in the Appalachians. It seems that Miss Irma decided she wanted a mountain vacation this week along with half of Florida.
The good thing about this is that water flows downhill and we’ve got a lot of down hills. The bad thing is the winds are going to blow a lot of trees down. The worst thing is that it’s apple season and the variety I like best (Cameo) isn’t ripe for another couple of weeks and might get blown away before I can get any. :mad:
