I’m here, I’m here! :eek: I’ve just been too emotionally fried since Saturday to post much of anything. I haven’t even done any reflection on it yet in my LJ.
From both of us, thanks so much for your kind and thoughtful messages. Our wedding turned out to be even more moving than I could have possibly imagined. I’m glad we kept it small, which was not for financial reasons, but rather because we wanted something more intimate.
Thanks to matt_mcl and Hamish for ushing, and to matt for the great pictures. And to Eonwe for not being late. (In fact, he was early!)
And of course, our deepest gratitude to CuriousCanuck and clayton_e not only for standing for and with us as groomsmen, but also for keeping us sane all weekend. Relatively sane.
My partner and I are going on a cruise, too, along the Mexican reviera, along the west coast of the country, between Dec. 19th to the 26th. If you’re in the same area, we need to get intouch!
I know the Spanish word for bathroom.
I can also say ¿Dónde está la maleta? which will locate either a bank, keys, or luggage…I forget which but they are all very useful items.
So much for that. Just as you two are getting back, we’ll be heading out. We’ll also be on the ocean side of Mexico whilst you’re on the Gulf side. shrugoh well

Well, keys are los laves (phonetically), and I’ll bet “bank” is “el bank” because that would be funny. But never having had a spanish class, I’ll leave it there.
I had an amazing time, the wedding was perfect, the reception was great, it couldn’t have gone any better. I’m so happy to see you two together in marriage, best wishes and congrats!
