I’m veering slightly off-topic here, but Hockey Monkey, I believe that I heard you say that you’ve been working on a hockey-themed Mafia ruleset? How goes progress on that? I ask because a couple of weeks ago I had a burst of inspiration about a hockey-themed Mafia game and I was wondering if we could collaborate. Now, my ruleset is somewhere between closed and semi-open(players begin the game in the dark about the Roles but they get revealed over time) so if you were to help me with this you couldn’t be a player in the game. What I have is very rough and needs a lot of polishing in terms of balance, simplifying the rules and too much probability being involved.

A no-lynch is a slight possibility, but only due to the odd-even nature of the game. No-kill is entirely implausible. Even if town agrees to one no-lynch, the max is nine, not ten. To get to ten there would need to be three no-lynches, and once you start going there, you might as well say that the max time for the game is eternity.
