A takeoff of the Oldest Father Poll. What Doper has the youngest parents? Please note, not looking for the youngest Doper to become a parent, but the Doper whose parents were born most recently.
Maybe sometime in the seventies? I could see 15-year-old Doper (1990) who’s mother or father was 15 (1975) at the time of their birth. As for me, I got nuthin’. My mom was born in 1952, my father in the 1930s. Surely someone can beat that.
My mom was born in 1954. My dad was born in 1955. He’s eleven months younger than she is.
My parents were born in 1951. I was born in 1985. I really have nothing to do with this poll, but I felt like saying it.
Oh, and when I was in like 5th grade, I found it very strange that everyone else’s parents were a decade or more younger than mine.
Not exactly what you’re looking for, but I turned 30 about 3 months ago, and my father turns 48 day after tomorrow.
My parents were born in 57 (dad) & 55 (mom)

I know there are at least a couple of 13-year-old Dopers who may have parents that can beat that, though. Unless they’re like me, a late-in-life baby.

I was born in 1965, and my mum 1929, and dad in 1923 – more than one classmate - and teacher - thought my parents were my grandparents…

I was born later and my parents have only slightly later birthdates.
My sister is 15 years older than I, and looks a bit older than her age, and it used to burn her up when I was 10 or 11, and she was babyminding me and my nephew, and people commented on what nice kids she had.
