Why not?
For Final Fantasy III (the US release of FF6):
Mog is interviewing monsters (to fill slots in the game, I suppose). Badly animated Amano drawings of various monsters file in, one by one, and Mog gleefully destroys each of them.
“NEXT! :D”

I never saw that =o Snap, didn’t even realize there was one. I’ll have to look it up.
Wow. Were the commercials of the 90’s really that bad that we’ve purged them from our heads?
Was the Levi’s claymation ad with the pigeons from the '90s?
I’m not sure if it is a good thing or a bad thing that when I think of “90’s Commercials” my mind is almost a complete blank.
However, while I wouldn’t consider it my “favorite” ad campaign, but I still remember AT&T Tom Selleck narrated “You Will” campaign from around 1993-1994. (It was also the subject of the first Internet banner ad.) As in, “Have you ever tucked in your child from 3000 miles away? You Will.” or “Have you ever gotten a phone call on your wrist?”. This page has some trivia about it. Meant to be hopeful and optimistic, but always came across to me as creepy. I was in college then and worked the ads into a short paper I had to do about the movie Brazil.
(Funny thing about getting a phone call on your wrist, they got the body part wrong…it makes more sense just to hang a phone directly on your ear rather than having to talk into your wrist…)
So anyhow, favorites…did the Talking M&M’s debut in the '90s? I guess that’s my favorite if they did.
