Your favorite International Warning Labels

You know, the wordless HAZMAT-style pictorial warning labels with no text meant to convey danger in all languages. Clearly I don’t know what the official name is.

What are some of your favorites? I’m hoping for real ones here, not photoshopped ones.

Anyway, this warning label is on my water heater. It’s my all-time favorite.

I’ve got a tape dispenser somewhere with a lovely gashed hand and spurting blood icon near the blade.

This one’s pretty cool as well, even if it has easily-ignored or covered-over words.

I came in here to post that one. Related signs show various descending things severing hands, arms, legs, head and cutting the torso in half.

Just for fun: Warning Label Generator.

That is TOTALLY COOL! Thanks!!

Ah yes, the good old “Avoid Death” label. AFAIK normally seen on Bobcats with a guy getting amusingly caught in the digger blade somehow.

I don’t see warning labels very often; my all-time favourite used to be (but sadly no longer is) printed on the side of frozen single-serve pies, reading “Warning: Overcooking may result in loss of gravy”.
I somehow left one in the microwave for 20 minutes just last week, and I can assure you that is true.

Do Not Store Children In Boxes

Makes me giggle every time we take out the Christmas ornaments.

Whenever I see this one I think “Warning: do not store your baby in the bucket!”

while googling, I found some good ones:

Actually, that comes up looking more like advice to keep children in boxes.
