I’m grasping at straws here for mundanity, but I’m curious. Which hair colours do you like prefer on men, women, and yourself? They don’t have to be natural colours either.
I have pretty plain tastes, as you can see.
MEN-dark brown (bleached tips are good too)
WOMEN-medium-dark brown
MYSELF-dark brown
So, what colours attract your attention right away?
On ladies? Red carrot hair. Redheads just make me weak in the knees.
On Men? Purple hair (That way I get a slight advantage when trying to catch the eye of the redheaded lass that just walked by. )
On Me? Brown/Sandy hair aka my natural hair color. I am not a big fan of hair coloring.
I’ve seen a few people with sky-blue hair, and that’s my favourite. I’ve never had the courage to try it on myself though. The colours I’ve personally tried being blonde (bleached), red, burgundy, and black.
For guys I think blonde or dark hair is good.
For girls dark hair
For me reddish/brown (more pale brown with lots of red highlights. How it looks in summer after sunstreaks and dying)
I love Irish men (in fact, three of the men on my list of top five men I’d like to go back in time to have sex with are Irish) so I gotta say redheads, but I usually don’t care.
On women, I usually don’t notice.
And my favorite hair color on me is from when I was little; I used to have bright red hair. Now it’s darken to brown, but it still has red high lights to it.
Men: Any color, prefer longish hair, moustache/beard. Like those light eyes too.
Women: I was in Poland a few years back, and a popular color among women was this deep burgundy/purple. Really striking most of time. I don’t have the guts (or the skin color) to try it.
me: blonde and the beginnings of some gray, I think.
On men, any color, as long as it’s clean, and shoulder-length or longer.
On women, any color as long as it’s short, although I’m partial to darker hair. Although long wavy red hair is awfully nice, too.
On me, red. Once I had a Marge-Simpson-blue buzz cut, though. That was pretty fun.
Women: depends upon coloring - my daughter is what’s called
an “autumn” with auburn hair which looks absolutely fabulous, but it’s a color that on me would look like a
maladjusted color tv set.
Men: shaved head, like my SO, shiny so his wonderful coloring shines.
Me: sigh, dishwater blonde which I have highlighted.
Ideal: long dark, dark brown or black hair with burgundy
henna highlights that looks clean, vibrant and kinda wild.
On to more important things…
On women, I like red hair (of course that’s what everyone says…) or short black hair. Different shades of purple (from natural plum to bright obviously fake purple) can look really neat too.
On guys, I have a thing for any unnatural color. I don’t know why, it just drives me crazy (in a good way).
My ex dyed his this awesome fluorescent elmo-ish-red color and when he does it up in liberty spikes it’s soo amazingly gorgeous sigh
Mine is currently 6000 shades of red, blonde and pink. I’m not sure I like it. Trying to decide what color to do next…
On me: well, my natural pale blonde is ok, and i’ve had it dark green (which was interesting), and cinnamon red (which everyone swore looked more natural than my natural color - go figure). I think I like the red best, but keeping it the right color is hard, and I’m lazy, so I stay blonde. grin
On men: Well, I have this odd preference for dark long hair (especially on pretty asians, but hey ). But if a guy looks good and SMELLS good, it doesn’t matter.
On women: pretty. grin Redheads WITHOUT freckles, asians with long dark hair (there’s that asian thing again), but anyone pretty (femme but not manipulative?). I like Beauty, in both sexes.
‘Strange’ colors are not excluded from that, provided they are beautiful on the person wearing them (orange hair with freckles just looks bad, in my opinion - but that gorgeous blue mohawk I saw the other day was breathtaking).
Mine is red, going with hazel eyes. I used to hate it as a kid but love it now. In men I’m not a real fan of long hair and colour doesnt much matter, altho brunette or blonde is pretty great most of the time.
