Your holiday weekend weather forecast:

Well, count me as one who likes the cool weather. Anything that delays the oppressively hot and humid Baltimore summer is welcome.

And i also have no real beef with the cicadas. I actually quite like the noise, and the bugs themselves are kinda cool.

I grew up in West Virginia, and I must say that I miss cicadas.

And fireflies too!

Dammit. I’m really am trying to get a doggy door put in. I’m cutting it in through the side of the house. I will also need to build a little ‘doggy deck’ and some ‘doggy stairs’.

Oh well. I can really relate to the saying ‘colder than a well diggers ass’.

Man, over 270 posts and my first misspelling

Not at all, I copied it from our local papers’ website

Don’t worry folks, come Tuesday it’s back to work and everything else will be forgotten.

Yes!

No!

Well, obviously. Those hazy, hot and humid summer days are unbearable.
Today was rather nice. No sun, but a cool breeze. Looks like it’s gonna rain any minute now, though.

Next time you’re outside, pick one up by the by the wings. It’ll scream at you. That’s kinda cool. (It’s a different sound than the mating call… )
