Your location...up there, by your name.

Nope, but if you google it as a phrase, it will be obvious.

I don’t remember why I decided to be vague. I live in Anderson, which really is not far from Hardscrabble, a tiny town. The nearest tiny town is Florida Station, but that would have been confusing.

Well, I originally set that as my location years ago. But if anybody thinks I need to make it more current, I suppose I could always change it to:

The Persistent Vegetative State

I like it!

my location is off by about 3.5 km, as the crow flies.

I tend to make up new words… so I took the literal meaning of my hometown’s name and blended it with the state name. Not too obscure.

Figure it out, I dare you! Come and find me… . Won’t somebody?!

looks at clock, continues waiting

Got to fit in one of my favorite songs, while still saying that I’m from NY. I change it often, though.

Like Big_Norse, I was feeling pretty much invisible when I invented mine. I probably should change it, but it explains more about where I’m from than anything else I can think of.

If there were room, you could put “in a church where a wedding has been”

I’d laugh and appreciate.

I doubt anyone knows what my Location refers to. It doesn’t even Google.

One of these close?

Er…these, I mean…

Hey, I got it.

Nope…it’s an obscure reference alright.

Mine will get you within 30 meters of my home.

For security reasons, thanks mostly to the DHS, I cannot reveal the actual UTM coordinates of my home, being that I am a national strategic asset . . . and all that with a bag of chips.

Tripler
You could huck a rock at my place if you got to my ‘location’.

Is this it? One of my friends from high school went there every summer to visit his grandparents. Are you of German extraction? Al claimed it was an all-but-official requirement for residents of the city to be Deutschlanders by heritage.

I often refer to Lafayette in my posts, and specify the state because there are several towns in the USA that share the name, although not necessarily the pronunciation.

Nope! Not from Millstadt. I do have a German last name, but i’m not THAT into it! :stuck_out_tongue:

Good guess though. I didn’t even know there was a Millstadt, Illinois.

If you add umulats, I get it as well. Obscure my emo, punk.

Okay, if the language of origin isn’t German, it must be French. My friend Crystal would envy you – she grew up on a farm, and is a big John Deere fan.

Bingo! You got it. We are the John Deere capital, yes-indeedy. Your friend should come out to see the John Deere Pavillion, they’ve got the big plows and harvesters outside for all to see. Its pretty cool, if you’re into that sort of thing.
