Favorite article of clothing
My coat. It’s a Swiss Army style coat, woollen and very durable. Madame P. got it for me some 15 years ago now (I’m on a second copy, actually). The day she gave it to me I was indifferent towards it, but the next day as I wore it walking down the street, it was a cold and windy day. I saw a man half-a-block ahead of me get hit by the oncoming wind and it whipped his jacked around fiercely. As I braced myself for the oncoming blast, I began to hear chuckling. When the wind crashed into me and my new coat, the laughter became gales, and, aside from some coolness around my face, I felt the wind not at all. I then realized Madame P. had purchased for me a most magical coat, with the Indian name Laughs-at-the-Wind.
