Catwoman. Rwaowr!
Most favorite superhero movie?
Marvel’s The Avengers. It was the movie my inner child had been waiting for my entire life.
Most Favorite type of edible nut?
Pecan, hands down.
Most favorite leafy vegetable?
Spinach. It makes atom bombs explode in my biceps.
Most fav Popeye character other than Popeye.
Olive Oil
It’s the only other one I know.
Favorite baseball team?
Cleveland Indians. Go Tribe!
MF football team (or soccer or rugby, if you’re not a Murrican)?
In NFL, it would be the San Francisco 49ers. In CFL, it would be the Toronto Argonauts. (“ARRRRR-gos!”)
Favorite NHL hockey team?
It used to be the Red Wings, but then all of their HoFers retired, they got bad, and aside from the Finals I hardly follow hockey much anymore.
Duhhh…
Most favorite season.
Rabbit season? Duck season? Rabbit season? Duck season?
No, it’s gotta be baseball season!
Most favorite animated film?
Wallace and Gromit in The Wrong Trousers.
Favorite FX-heavy movie from before CGI.
The Sword and the Sorcerer, cheesy as it may be now.
Your Most Favorite Disney Princess?
Belle, definitely. She reminds me of a long-ago high-school girlfriend.
Most favorite of Disney’s seven dwarfs?
Grumpy. I see myself in him.
Your Most Favorite all-time motor vehicle?
The original Humvee. Not the crappy retail version, but the military one. I’m not saying I’d want it for a day-to-day vehicle, but to just have something in the garage that could get me where I’m going no matter what the weather or terrain would give me great peace. In the end, that’s all a vehicle is for, right? This is the ultimate “Get you and your loved ones safely where you need to be” set of wheels.
What’s your most favorite pastry?
A still-warm from the oven croissant. (with plenty of cold butter)
What’s your most favorite place to be alone?
Looking out over the ocean on the front porch of the rickety beach house on the Outer Banks that we often go to.
Most favorite Thirties movie?
The Awful Truth, 1937, Irene Dunne and Cary Grant. I love this movie, and have seen it probably a dozen times. The whole film is rolling on the floor laughing funny, but on top of that, it contains what is, to me, the funniest scene in all of cinema, when Irene Dunne pretends to be Grant’s sister, and shows up at his SO’s in-laws’ house. I’d post it, but then I’d have to write a long paragraph explaining what led up to it, or it isn’t as funny.
Dunne and Grant are two of my favorite performers ever. I even once had a cat named Irene Dunne.
Most favorite silent movie.
City Lights. A funny, charming Chaplin romance.
Most favorite Forties movie?
Casablanca. It has intrigue, romance, stirring music, and Nazis! Oh, and more quotable lines than you can shake a stick at.
Most favorite Fifties movie?
