You said it!!!

I’ve put of moving my spider plants outside - obviously my procrastination has paid off! Maybe next week?

Only because we’re taking passengers. If just the 2 of us move it, no sweat. But he invited our daughter and her family, and that added to the complexity. Oh well, it’s not that huge a deal.

We went to the cafe in Leonardtown for breakfast. I got a mushroom and spinach omelet, and I swear, they used half a box of frozen spinach in it! I scraped most of it out - note to self, don’t order that again. But the most disturbing part was the bill came to over $30 before tip. We used to eat for under $20 there… oh well…

Gots my list - time to head to the basement to start gathering stuff…

Morning all. Pills taken and paper rescued, so will shortly make myself presentable and head out to Outback for dinner. 49F heading for 58F, so cooler than usual. But at least no rain in the forecast until Wednesday night.

FCM, good luck with the boat logistics for next weekend.

Cookie, sounds like you’ve got everything covered for the move; at least until the last minute…(Murphy lives!!)

Take care of yourself Sari

OK, need to scrape of the face rust and get about the day.

I have a day of working low today. Sitting on the cold concrete floor. I’m taking a break after the first hour cuz my worse knee is complaining. Maybe I’ll figure out a little cart to sit on.

FCD bought a rolling seat with a tray underneath because he can’t deal with working on the floor. It’s a little shorter than he likes, but it’s saved his knees!

And I can finally tell Cologuard to shut up! No Toby today and I was at home when the urge hit, so I’ve collected the sample, done all the things they told me to do, and shortly, I’ll take it to the UPS store. I swear, they nagged me via email, texts, and snail mail. Worse than my mother!!!

sari, when our magnolias started to shed their blossoms, we got hit with a snow, so they were on the ground together.

Got a few things done in the studio today. Someone please remind me how to post photos from my phone or desktop so’s I can show off some of my projects.

Something is amiss with the neighbors two doors down. I haven’t seen the woman or the little girls for a couple of weeks. The minivan hasn’t been here and the girls’ outdoor toys are gone. Molly, the sweet little Aussie has been tethered outside for a couple of hours at a time instead of being taken outside with a human. The man of the house, the dogs and his truck are still there. I’m wondering if the mom and girls went back to Florida. I feel bad for sweet Molly though.

Power outage. Yay. Per power company, 20k customers affected, probable duration ca. 1hr. The Princess is hiding (she disapproves of power outages). Typing on my phone is annoying.

My dad had a fall. He hit his head. He needs stitches and is showing signs of a concussion. He’s at the hospital and we’re waiting for news. They limit visitors, so my mom gets first priority. Not knowing things sucks.

Power’s back, the cat’s probably still hiding. Outage was about 35 minutes, so better than estimate.

Hope your dad’s OK, @Sunny_Daze.

Howdy Y’all! I ended up having to serve Chalice this mornin’ cause the scheduled person did not show up. Oh well, I have come to expect anything at anytime, so no biggie. We made the pizza kit for N.O.L. It was not bad, but it won’t be happenin’ again. I am glad for Pizza Hut to take care of any future pizza needs. Nappage occurred and outside of schedule hell (almost got it figured out!) things are pretty chill. The biiiiiig trash can has been hauled all the way down to the road for pickup tomorrow. All is well.

{{{Sunny}}} hopes things are OK for your dad. It does suck to wait around for info.

MOOOOOOM I needed a nap after just readin’ about all the plannin’ and such for the boat move! Hope it all goes smooth.

So y’all said you wanted to see my stuff. Here is some of it. This is for a nearby university that is having a fund raiser kick-off event. The big boxes are just decoration and the strange ribbed white thing is the “concierge desk.” The thing about those big boxes is they’re going to be outside, and even with the “skis” I made for them to stand on, they are still going to be frightening if there’s wind.

Today was putting all those ribs on–122 of them. I ended up sitting on a furniture dolly and rolling around on that. Kneeling on concrete wasn’t gonna happen.

sunny Best wishes for your dad.

VanGo yikes! That is some hyuuuuuuuuuge stuff you built there. I bow to your construction skills.

I think most of us Mumpers here could have predicted this.

Update:

We had somebody’s urine sample bag get ripped open the other day. Luckily the leak was contained.

I’m impressed, VanGo.

{{{{Sunny}}}}

You ‘n’ me both.

Welcome to my :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: life.

swampy, when it comes to assisting at a service I remember the words of a former pastor. "Walk slow, act like you know what you are doing, and if you make a mistake chances are nobody will know it."

Just WOW! VanGo. You do nice work.

I hope that your dad is OK sunny.

See y’all tomorrow.

Most impressive VanGo; that’s a lot of work, hope you have help from the customer in moving/placing it.

Add my best wishes for your dad, Sunny. Falls are not fun past a certain age.

That’s our swampy; a true JOAT (Jack Of All Trades).

red, sounds like a separation is in process. Hope Molly gets the attention she deserves.

Did not make it to the gym today, I guess with the activity yesterday 6 out of 7 days ain’t to bad. Just have to get myself back at it Moanday so I don’t get out of the rhythm of doing this everyday. Sorta made up for it by having a Big Bowl O’Sallit for dinner.

Everyone have a good night now and I’ll catch you on the next MMP.

That’s pretty much how I train people!

Those look very professional. Your link makes me want to tell you to go and get a chair so I can stand on it and smack you upside the head.

Are you going to be able to recruit college folks to help unload? Lots of them are pretty clueless, so if an older person tells them to “Just stand here behind it and be ready to catch it if the wind blows” will faithfully stand there until a SQUIRREL moment happens.

I hope that when you do know, everything will be minor enough that nobody thought to tell you after good news.

I have been checking here on a regular basis, but it has been so wonderful outside I haven’t wanted to bother with a keyboard.

Today I was looking over our yard while listening to the birds and realizing that with the exception of two trees, we are done with the yard. Of course there will be the normal maintenance, but I have a finished garden for the first time in my life.
