This is such an incredibly disgusting thread. I honestly don’t know why I’m reading it, and yet I can’t stop.

Well I’m reading it because it shows how we all feel related in the vast network of humanity, and that common experience and travail allow us to see, however briefly, how deeply our common roots in humankind run.

I had some odd armpit zit about 6 months ago. I think it was some odd allergic reaction to the deodorant because I haven’t seen it coming back since switching deodorants. It was only under my right arm (if I remember right).

Could have been a sebaceous cyst. I occasionally get one just above my left pit and another in my right.
I just pulled a massive blackhead out of the motherlode pore on my husband’s back. It’s this distended crater that periodically fills up with crud and I have to really dig in with needle, tweezers, and bobby pin to get it out. This thing was at least half an inch long and thicker than a pencil lead, it was amazing. I should have taken a picture.

::Shudder::
If that’s what true love is, I want no part of it.
I once popped an underarm cyst that had a terribly ingrown hair as the core. At first, I thought the dark, hard lump was some kind of old, calcified pus. As I squeezed the core, it unwrapped several times until I ended up with a hair that had to have been about 3 inches long. It took about three squeezes to expel everything. But I haven’t had a recurrence in about 5 years.
