My husband just pointed this out to me, printed on the side of our Papajohns Pizza box.

Why would Christ give a stink about pizza? I am religious but this seems nuts to me :rolleyes:
I’m sure the manager of that store is named Christine or Christopher and it just didn’t fit.
Not like I would eat their pizza anyway.

Did they anoint your pizza with oil? That describes a whole lot of pizzas I’ve eaten in my lifetime.

I doubt every Papajohhs in the country is managed by a Christopher
This a deliberate ploy by PJ’s to make a statement about religion, on a pizza box. IMHO it’s stupid.
PJ’s is also making the excuse that they won’t provide health care because of the Affordable Care Act’s requirement that all full-time employees be provided insurance by their employers, and is using “Christian” values as an excuse.

I hope He’s wearing gloves - I’m pretty sure making pizza with uncovered stigmata is a health code violation.
We quit frequenting PJ’s after their ACA stunt. Now I’m doubly glad we did.
So now if the pizza sucks we know who to blame.

Well it won’t matter to me, because I never liked Papa John’s anyway.
Maybe I could taste the hypocrisy all along.

I stopped eating PJ pizza long before the ACA thing because,well, ick! Ol’ PJ is just giving me more reasons not to go back.
But I love their thin crust Chicken Alfredo

Nothing you’ve posted proves that it’s on every box in the country. You linked to 3 articles, two of which say that it was likely Christopher or Christine, and a handful of pictures showing “Christ”.
“Christine” and “Christopher” are both relatively common names, and Papa John’s has standard labels and probably standard printers for those labels. So it’s not unreasonable that 8 or 10 stores in the country would have a manager by that name and would all truncate it at the same place.
This makes for a humorous coincidence so there are bound to be a few pictures of it on the internet. Nobody’s going to remark on “Your pizza experience managed by John”, let alone photograph it and put it on the net.
