Free will is an interesting area of debate. I’ve often thought that, were my input sought in the design phase of Creation, that I would have wired the human brain such that engaging in stupidity caused immediate physical pain, in proportion to the stupidity engaged in. That gets argued against by statements that, well, will wouldn’t really be free then–but I would counter, physical stupidity often results in discomfort. Young children generally don’t tend to touch the pretty red burner more than a single time, and no one complains that injury invalidates free will.
But alas, I was not on that particular Hosts’ focus group. I bet they got outvoted; committees always screw up good ideas.
As I said before, peewee is coming off as insensitive and opportunistic.

For the first time ever, I was motivated to use the “Search for Other Posts by” button and look up Peewee, and in the interests of fairness (sort of), I want to point out that he only seems to have gotten into this Apocalyptic frame of mind since the WTC. All his other posts and thread pre-WTC seem fairly normal.
But everything since September 11 is just Bible verses.
