You're an idiot, peewee_RotA

So kindly shut the fuck up.

OK, I’ll admit it.

I had sex before marriage. I’ve gambled on a few occasions. And I do say “fuck” a lot.

I’m doomed.

But I’m not gonna be banned.

I get my info directly from Jesus! You think God does not accept Jesus testimony!

You HIPOCRITE!

You know nothing of Christianity, as most christains don’t!

You think the message to forgive came not from God? Are you daft? Do you not listen?

Do you not even know the verse that is the entire basis for christianity?

John 3:16-18
16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
(NIV)

If you deny this verse, you deny God. And in a nation founded under God, do you not then also deny America?

You stiff necked people!

You hold your patriotism high and mighty, though now it hardens your hart!

Again I will say this, and to deny this is to deny Jesus, for these are his words.
Matt 18:25-35
25 Since he was not able to pay, the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold to repay the debt.
26 "The servant fell on his knees before him. ‘Be patient with me,’ he begged, ‘and I will pay back everything.’
27 The servant’s master took pity on him, canceled the debt and let him go.
28 "But when that servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii. He grabbed him and began to choke him. ‘Pay back what you owe me!’ he demanded.
29 "His fellow servant fell to his knees and begged him, ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay you back.’
30 "But he refused. Instead, he went off and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay the debt.
31 When the other servants saw what had happened, they were greatly distressed and went and told their master everything that had happened.
32 "Then the master called the servant in. ‘You wicked servant,’ he said, ‘I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to.
33 Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?’
34 In anger his master turned him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.
35 “This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart.”
(NIV)

Apparently.

Gee, peewee. Looks to me as though 'tis you who thinks you’re Jesus. Ain’t that blasphemy?

Pee-wee, dude, you’re going to work yourself into a friggin’ coronary. I’m getting dizzy just reading your posts.

Seriously, you are waaaaaaaay to worked up.
I’m not going to flame you, it does no good. I’m not going to debate you, that would be utterly pointless. You seem to be pretty devoted to your religion. I suppose that’s good, you obviously need it.
But I say again … Calm the fuck down, you’re going to explode.

Dude. You know those voices in your head? They’re not real.

**

OK, tell you what. If that happens, I will grant you full permission to dance a jig and chant, “I told you so! I told you so!” And then you can go live off of glow-in-the-dark ash for the rest of your life.

Promise? At least between now and the time that your ass is banned.

And of course, an internet message board would be the best place for it, since so many of the world’s leazders who make these decisions are busy cruising the Striaght Dope right now.

As a matter of fact, I did. Sorry I can’t do anything about it though, but I’m also not persecuting them. Again, what does this have to do with spouting Bible verses and telling everyone we’re going to hell? If we’re all so doomed, then why shouldn’t we persecute a few people now and then? Your arguments seem self-defeating to me.

Who ever wants to dig up dead bodies?

We must be watching different news channels. Are you talking about something other than the WTC and Pentagon here? If so, please clarify, if not than shut the fuck up. You think the families of those involved will ever forget? No, the general public may never know all of the names, but I honestly believe a memorial will be put up there for the victims of this. They will be remembered.

(sigh) And how far up your ass did you have to reach for this number? Here’s the classic refrain: cite please? You have no way of knowing that nukes would be used. This “war” will most likely be carried out by specially trained anti-terrorist units (ie. SEALS, Green Berets, Airborne, SAS). We have not declared war on a specific nation. Stop breeding fear.

Again, you have no way of knowing that nukes will be used. Stop talking out of your ass. Wait till you get some facts, you fucking ignorant fuck nugget. People are afraid enough of real situations occurring in the world right now, no one needs you planting more seeds of fear based on nothing more than the shit you’ve made up in your own head.

**

Bullshit. I say you need to justify your beliefs and share this information you’re privy too about the imminent use of nuclear weapons, when there’s been no mention of it from the people who actually decide these things. Don’t you realize nuclear war is the absolute last resort? It will not go that far.

Crunchy,

You and I have both missed something. The relentless fire & brimstone manner of preaching at folks is also part of the persecution Jews and Muslims have faced here.

O.k. without farter comment read this… I mean actually read it… and tell me if this is satan bait, or if this is what Jesus said!
Luke 6:27-49
27 "But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,
28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
29 If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic.
30 Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back.
31 Do to others as you would have them do to you.
32 "If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even ‘sinners’ love those who love them.
33 And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even ‘sinners’ do that.
34 And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even ‘sinners’ lend to ‘sinners,’ expecting to be repaid in full.
35 But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.
36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
37 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
39 He also told them this parable: "Can a blind man lead a blind man? Will they not both fall into a pit?
40 A student is not above his teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like his teacher.
41 "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
42 How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
43 "No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit.
44 Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers.
45 The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks.
46 “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?
47 I will show you what he is like who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice.
48 He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.
49 But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.”
(NIV)

Now am I a false prophet, or DID JESUS SAY THIS???

You’re right. I don’t believe you. For one thing, the United States has already detonated over 100 times that many nuclear warheads, and the Soviets at least that many, and Earth’s still here.

The United States of America was founded under the Constitution, which doesn’t even mention God.

Well technically, and I’m saying this as a Christian, isn’t that what Luke says Jesus said?

But going forward, think about what you are doing. You are breeding fear and hate, even if you do not realize it. It’s my belief a Christian should work in love, not in fear.

Best damn typo I’ve seen in weeks. It made me smile.

**

Luke is considered to be the oldest of the four gospels, written a few decades after the crucifixion of Jesus. Although I suspect that many of Jesus’s sayings may have survived in memory long enough for it to make it into written form, I personally doubt that everything in the gospels is a verbatim transcript of what he said.

The author of Luke himself admits that he’s not an eyewitness to the events. (See the first chapter, NRSV.)

As to whether or not you’re a false prophet or not, or if you’re a prophet of any kind at all, I feel unqualified to comment.

I do however feel qualified to state that you are a myopic asshole of the first water, who through your gibbering and posturing makes a mockery of Christianity.

Socrates was a wise man. He went around telling people what to do. They poisoned him.

Actually I think Mark is the oldest of the Gospels, Matthew and Luke come next–not sure if either has any definite priority over the other–and John last.

I’m 27. I’m too young for these kind of memory foul-ups.

I just checked. You’re right. Mark is considered the oldest, and John the youngest.

Mea culpa.

Okay, who left the monkey cage open?

peewee_RotA, you are no prophet, false or otherwise. You are merely full of yourself, which is a polite way of saying you’re full of shit.

People like you are a blight on the landscape of Christianity. You’d have loved the 15th century. I can easily envision you as Torquamada’s number one flunky.

You can endlessly parrot the Bible, but my cat knows more about Christianity than you do.

And I don’t even have a cat.

Twaddlewit.

Peewee, why is this so hard for you to understand?

We do NOT want your opinions, views, or divine inspirations.

You haven’t accomplished anything here with your Fundamentalist views, and you never will.

Please, just stop. If only for a few minutes, until your imminent banning occurs. Thank you.

God, I have to do this. In the name of your living Son, please help me to keep it clean. Amen.

Look, you little fornographer! Anyone can cut and paste from scripture. What’s more important is that one actually live the faith. That, of course, requires one to understand what is written in said scriptures.

I believe this (the quoted portions) is one of your posts in another thread:

How do you know that I am denying the word of God? I am denying the word of an irritant–you. Only God can know what is in my heart.

And the last time I checked, my ordination is still valid and I am, at this very moment, a Priest. I think I’ll go with my take on the Word over yours.

Beg pardon? I do believe that the Word of God says exactly zero about you sitting in the judgment seat on the last day. Or any other day for that matter.

Here’s an interesting tidbit for you from the Doctrine and Covenants, Section 64 (that’s Scripture for some of us, in case you didn’t know):

[ul][sup]9[/sup]Wherefore, I say unto you, that ye ought to forgive one another; for he that forgiveth not his brother his trespasses standeth condemned before the Lord; for there remaineth in him the greater sin. [sup]10[/sup]I, the Lord, will forgive whom I will forgive, but of you it is required to forgive all men. [sup]11[/sup]And ye ought to say in your hearts–let God judge between me and thee, and reward thee according to thy deeds.[/ul]

Kind of obvious what your deeds here are.

[sarcasm]I trembled in my boots for my entire 20 years in uniform that I was going to do something to make peewee question my patriotism.[/sarcasm]

The last person who questioned my patriotism apologized on this board and described that questioning as “contemptible.” IMHO, that took a heck of a lot of class. Too bad you have neither knowledge nor class.

Here’s the interesting thing, though, sport: 'twasn’t founded thataway. Also, many posters here DON’T LIVE IN THE UNITED STATES.

Let’s see, prior to independence, the United States were part of the United Kingdom, a country with a monarch with the title “Defender of the Faith” and heir to the throne once held by those who believed in the “divine right of monarchs.” Looks to me like the country didn’t exist when God supposedly was in charge.

I was not aware that the Constitution of the United States of America granted you the power to decide who does and does not deserve to reside in this great land. And, in case you missed it above, I supported and defended that constitution for the vast majority of my adult life.

Also, this fine land is not a theocracy.

Let’s see: I disagree with you so therefore I am an anarchist and an anti-christ? Looks to me like a good number of folks disagree with you. Isn’t there only supposed to be ONE anti-christ or is this the convenience store economy package deal?

Oh, and I have yet to see any guidance coming from you. What I do see is hate and intolerance with you using the Bible as a weapon.

I thought it was God’s job to set that path.

I have no fear on that occasion. I do believe that I easily told you in this very thread what I say about forgiveness. And since I gleaned my take on that from Scripture (which, unlike you, I understand), I don’t think I have to buy an asbestos suit.

Here’s another interesting tidbit from the Quran (that’s some folks’ scripture, I hope you realize):

You evidently only know how to parrot the Bible’s words and to condemn other people for what YOU perceive to be in their hearts. Me? I prefer to leave that to God. I do not “say of God what I know not.”

BTW, you are still confusing yourself with Jesus.

p.s. Thank you, Heavenly Father, for helping me to keep this clean.

Oh shit…Mom?
