Don’t Dream It’s Over is the best song here by far but I also voted for (in decreasing order of interest) :

The Way It Is (carryover from 1986), C’est la Vie, Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now, With or Without You, La Isla Bonita. In dead-ass last place in the world-famous Ponch8 Music Rating System is “Always,” which is total rubbish.

I voted for so many this time. Since I already voted for Bruce Hornsby, I left it out since I don’t vote for the same song.

Wang Chung, Bangles, U2, Crowded House, Cutting Crew, Starship, Jody Watley, both Madonna entries, Atlantic Starr(yes yes), Lisa Lisa Cult Jam, T’Pau, Billy Idol, Tiffany, Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes, plus George Michael.
I also voted for Corey Hart’s cover of the Elvis song “Can’t Help Falling In Love”. It is okay, but I liked his voice during the song, so I gave him a vote.
But Elvis did it better and UB40 had the better cover of all, in fact best version.

Meanwhile Tiffany and Billy Idol’s covers blow the original Tommy James and Shondells versions out the water. However Pseudo Echo did a poor take on “Funkytown”.
