Meh. It seems like a result of the previous no kill Night.
And the Cop wasn’t going to be getting any new investigations soon anyway.

I think ShadowFacts has it right. Kill Red and Normal Phase. I’m also not keen on choie. Several of her posts have made me :dubious:.

Heh. You definitely had me fooled, though you can thank Pizza for much of that. He came out against you so strong for “tone” and “writing style,” he immediately made me want to defend you. The original case against you was so lame I didn’t listen to the subsequent better case.

Howdy all!

I guess I shouldn’t say too much in here yet, since my identity hasn’t been revealed yet, but I was rather surprised to wake up dead this Morning.
**Astral **and Mahaloth, this game has been a blast!

I can see how **Pizza’s **style can be rather off-putting, but I actually like the guy…despite the fact that he’d been trying to get me lynched for Days on end. He’s certainly a personality

I’ve been lurking the game, trying to build up courage enough to play it again. :stuck_out_tongue:

I know that Pizza has been confirmed Town by LightFoot, and the odds are slim-ta-none on two Godfathers among the Lords of Slaughter… but given that it’s okay to throw out a claim of a vigilante-type role, I’m surprised that no one (that I’ve seen) has posited a third party serial killer role, who perhaps could have obfuscation as a power…

I dunno, maybe it is the walls of text and the right out taunting of both the Lords and the Town, but something about ATPG seems really… odd. He keeps reminding the town over and over that he’s been confirmed. Gilding the lily, much? And then there was what he did to ShadowFacts… brutal! But there just hadn’t been the double-kills nor triple-kills to support that.

At least, not until Suburban Plankton.

I’d ask for spoilers, but it’s too interesting to want to spoil. But Scuba_Ben, I agree. 400 quatloos on the Lords of Slaughter.

I said this in the spoiled thread, but I’ll repeat it here as it doesn’t give anything away. If I were still alive, this would be my strategy - Every time Pizza posted, I would follow it as soon as possible with:

DO NOT LISTEN TO THE MAN BEHIND THE PIZZA
VOTE RED SKEEZIX

I would post this over and over and over and over and over…

Well, it’s nice to see that sanity prevailed, for Today at least

Sanity prevailed = **Pizza **finally stopped posting

I need to take this opportunity to finally say out loud: "I told you so!"

(That may be petty, but it had to be said).

Meh.

I attempted to find the scums using what resources I had, which was nothing. I did my best.

Hmmm… FOS Weedy.

Bet: Lord of Slaughter victory, and Pizza was a dumbass.

Vanilla town is a tough role, for sure. I loved your play, and I think you sparked conversation where there might not have been any otherwise. Net positive for town

Besides, this is a team game. You played hard for your team. if town loses and blames it on one vanilla townie, they deserve to lose!

I still predict that I convinced myself and others on bad cases and that will give the scums time to win the game that they otherwise may not have had.

That said, at the time, without the benefit of hindsight, I could not play passively, I had to go after whatever pinged me, and I saw all sorts of things in Hirka and choie which pinged me, and then of course Red’s move caused me all kinds of brain aneurysms.

I was all set to back off choie, et al, but I thought it was my last night alive and that Red’s move was meant to spare choie, obviously.

As such, any re-examine I did would look unfavorably on choie, and choie was not accusing Hirka all game and seemed to be sparing him. Therefore I felt there was a connection that may not be there.

And so, I tried very hard, but I do not believe I made a positive impact on the game, I was merely a distraction.

Meh… I’ll get em next time I guess.

Maybe I screwed up so badly over the course of the game that they’ll recover faster once Hirka flips townie. “Ah pizza screwed us again. Let’s toss it all out and start over.” They might do better. I think some or all of my “strongly” townie leads were correct. If they could avoid mistakes on consecutive rounds they still have a chance.

Here’s hoping I look like a really, really big idiot so they can move on quicker. Cheers.

You really should join us on the spoiler board, pizza. You can see who’s who and converse with those folks who know what’s going on fully, since many of us shy away from the forbidden threads a bit for fear of accidentally slipping Perfect Information in there.

I’m still interested in the game for its own sake, trying to solve it. There will be plenty of time to discuss blunders and I told you so’s after the game is over.

Don’t forget Weedy, choie. It’s good that you put her back on the list, but that she’s an afterthought is worrysome. She has almost completely vanished from the radar. She can get away with posting one thing all day today, if she wanted to.

I think my reasons why people were townie were good on almost everyone but Weedy. I was rushing and she wasn’t anywhere near my top suspect, and I was anxious to simply conclude that there were only three suspects remaining. She could very well be townie but that was not very thorough of me, and if I can’t be thorough in 600+ posts then I don’t deserve to win.

I decided to pop n here. hindsight I may have been able to make the game different. first game over here. I could / should have attacked it different.

Ahh but my …I learned some new tricks to be used later

If I had been slightly more accurate in my accusations, your one investigation result would have been a decisive factor in the game. Unfortunately I took the pro-town cred you gave me and drove our efforts into the ground. :smack:

Good. I feel about as useful as Qui-gon Jinn in Star Wars. Only caught one Sith, got destroyed, and single-handedly pushed for Anakin Skywalker to become a Jedi, leading to their near-total defeat.

That said, Qui-gon trained Obi-Wan, who turned Vader into a can of beans with a breathing tube. Maybe choie can fix this mess with stuff like “If X is townie, what then?” which is some of what I’ve been advocating.

Maybe choie can be our Obi-Wan.

…chobie-wan?

No worries! The game of mafia directly prior to this one, I was the detective and I also (albeit unintentionally) was forced to out myself as detective on Day 1 too. These things happen. As long as you had fun in the game, it’s all good.

Cheer up, you two. There’s still a fair chance that the exertions of Septimus the Beguiler may prove to have almost single-handedly won the game for Town.
