I got home from work today to find a heavy-ass box from TGIF on my front porch! The cute little Mississippi- The Magnolia State shot glass was almost lost between a bottle of tequila, margarita mix, Abe’s Bar-B-Q sauce, Ass-Kickin’ cornbread mix, and a tin of chocolate covered pecans. Oh, and a refrigerator magnet to match the shot glass! TGIF, indeed! I certainly made out like a bandit this time around. Thank you so much!
Sound great! It also sounds like we all could have a great party if we showed up with our packages, like a big Show-and-Tell event, and shared and ate and drank! This has been a fun exchange, and this is my first SDMB Shot Glass Exchange, and I hope by now every body has received theirs.

Today, on the day I reached my goal weight(I’ve been on a serious reducing diet)
I got a box from fepptytweed, and let me tell you it’s quite a haul!
There’s a postcard showing the “state bird” of Mississippi as a mosquito. There’s a cute shotglass with state emblems on it. Also included is cornbread mix, margarita mix, a bottle of Mexican tequila, a Mississippi frudge magnet, a bottle of nummy looking BBQ sauce, and, last but not least, chocolate covered pecans. I’ve already broken the latter open and scarfed some, hence my opening line.
Thank you so much! It’s really hot right now, so I think I’ll enjoy some margaritas later on today.
