Ted Cruz gives me the creeps.
How many times did Christie speak and how many of those times did he mention that he was a federal prosecutor?
Seven years worth of times!
Ted Cruz always has a look on his face as if he’s doing everything he can to stay in character and not burst out laughing.
Fiorina always says “Democrat Party”. That’s just so petty. She also said that both Republican and “Democrat” administrations have had to deal with Kim Jong Un. That must be difficult, since he only came to power after Obama did.
She also likes to quote other people. I guess it’s because she has no ideas of her own, except “Hillary bad.”
roflmao The TRUMP totally humiliated beta cuck Jeb! tonight. Truly one of the most wonderful events in American politics.
Jeb Bush finally looked pretty good- way too late. He’s still toast.
Ben Carson looks ready to fade out. I think even religious conservatives who love his biography are starting to see that he’s in way over his head.
Trump was awful, but this time he was awful in a way that MIGHT give pause even to his fanatical followers. He was uninformed, blatantly uninformed, and actually gave Rubio a chance to look much smarter than him.
Will that matter? Hard to say.
Were we even watching the same debate? TRUMP shut down every time Jeb! opened his tiny trap to squeak out an objection.
“Sure you are tough enough”
“41-3”
I always imagine a Muppet suddenly spewing far right hate.
Koch Kuck Kasich looks, talks, and flails like Kermit the Frog.
I think these debates are more about connecting emotionally with people, and I’d say Rubio did the best. He projected the best knowledge, strength and confidence.
I think I figured out Bush’s big problem. He has a certain quiver in his voice that makes him sound hesitant. You just get the sense that he’s not really all there.
Kasich needs to quit with the karate chop hand gestures.
Cruz is creepy. I’ve said that all along.
Paul did pretty good, but he’s still too far out on the fringe.
Christie did pretty well, too, except for his constant droning about how he was a prosecutor for 7 years. Sounded too rehearsed.
Trump did better than I expected. His pledge to stick with the Republicans goes a long way. He had a lot of typical bluster, but I think the crowd likes that to a certain extent.
Carson did his usual mumbling. I think his star is about to set.
Its the law of equivalent exchange: you save a life, therefore you get to end a life.
I hadn’t watched a U.S. political “debate” in 30 years. I watched all of the first ten minutes. The singing of the national anthem was a hoot. Where do these flag waving jackasses think they are, at a god damned baseball game? When did that bullshit start? And when did candidates start having their own high school cheering sections?
I felt embarrassed to be a citizen of this country.
Jeb Bush is dull. He needs to drop out of the election.
Yes I’d rather much be a citizen of a country where a pigfucker is Head of Government.:dubious:
I was struck by the ardor of the crowd welcoming Rubio, it seemed on a par with Trump and Cruz, little more, maybe, little less. And wondering why? His poll numbers don’t show any wild enthusiasm running rampant. What kind of crowd they have there? Or did something happen so he’s on fire, but the liberal media won’t tell me?
'Course, under the circumstances, maybe it is just normal when something weird happens.
When Cruz talks about bombing someplace till it glows…is he deliberately talking nukes? Is it a phrasing that has lost its meaning over time, now that kids don’t huddle under desks and wait to be vaporized. And if he is deliberately talking nukes, howcum some dumb hippy is the only one to notice.
Its obvious, especially it being Vegas, that the crowd was packed with Country clubbers, soccer moms and/or Mormons-ie Normiecons who fear the candidates of the proletariat like TRUMP and slobber themselves over “sensible” neocon neoliberals like Rubio especially since he has the added trait of brown skin.
Maybe, be the last to know. Be more curious to know how tickets were distributed, and to whom.
I think Cruz looks like a 20s-era gangster.
