2010 NFL Draft Thread: April 22nd - 24th

Hell, at this rate, maybe Clausen is there at #49 for the 49ers. Wow.

The Steelers and Pouncey are a great match. They deserve each other.

New Prediction. This is Mcdaniel’s last draft ever.

What did Denver pay for that pick?

They had already traded down multiple times, picking up extra picks along the way, so it didn’t cost them as much as it would appear. Actually, I’d say it was a wash and they save $$ on his contract by picking him at 25 instead of 11. EDIT: I forgot they traded up for Bryant, too. It’s going to take a lot of analysis to figure out Denver’s +/- on this.

Clausen sitting there for Arizona? Do they pull the trigger or give Leinart a shot?

Lefty QBs just look wrong.

I see my guy Alualu went really effin early. Seems somebody likes him as much as I do.

My God Michael Irvin is an even bigger douchebag during the draft than usual. And he’s a whole load of douchebag regularly.

26 (26) Cardinals - Dan Williams, DT, Tennessee

Tebow’s starting to get almost a talked-up vibe, since he moved up so much just by redoing his motion, but it’s not like he is going to start this year. The WR pick is surprising. But how is either of those picks going to get McDaniels fired?

Listening to Tim Tebow, to me, is like listening to a really bad con man. I hate hearing him speak.

I can’t be the only one enjoying watching Kipers’ “Best Available” being passed over and over and over and over.

Doesn’t matter that they traded down, they still gave up the house for a mediocre player. How do they see Tebow as better than McCoy? Personal issues aside, he is NOT an NFL qb. On top of that, why did we give up Hillis for Quinn??

Tom Jackson is starting to get really pissed off at being cut off every time he speaks. Looked like he almost walked off the set just now.

Question–are the Broncos a heavily Christian organization? I’ve heard rumors that the Rockies are, and prefer to draft/sign players that are also into Christianity.

I’ve posted before that I think Tebow will play QB in the NFL, and I think he’s going to be good. Maybe very good. I know everybody says he doesn’t have the arm, he can’t do this, he can’t do that…but they said that about Joe Montana, too. I like underdogs. GEAUX TEBOW.!

He completely gutted the team there when he arrived, and is rebuilding it on a pile of shit and wishes, just to do it his way.

Because McDaniels is a tyrannical egomaniac who needs to have people who are beholden to him? Just a guess.

I said it upthread: I think Tebow, as Gruden said, “will not be denied.” and will make himself in to an NFL QB. He still might fail, but I think he has a very good chance.

27 (27) Patriots - Devin McCourty, CB, Rutgers

STILL no Wilson pick at CB. I think McCourty will be productive, but not a Pro-Bowler.

Any interest in my Tebow vs. Clausen wager?
