Yes, clearly you can use past performance to try to schedule quality opponents, but that doesn’t guarantee they’ll be a good team when that game rolls around. Regardless you can’t point to past performance when you are trying to make a case about the current team’s relative quality.

Yes, but I was worried about defense, and about play without Ekpre-Olomu.

These West coast girly-boys are faster and stronger than the Southerners.

Go genderqueer Ducks!

You can’t come back from 4 turn overs. FSU just beat themselves this game. Edit: 5 turnovers.

Make that five turnovers. Also, don’t take anything away from the Ducks’ defensive effort.

Is it wrong of me to thoroughly enjoy watching FSU get the crap beat out of them, simply because I’m sick of hearing about them?

Oregon vs Alabama will be such a great game. Go tide!

Don’t get ahead of yourself, Tide has to get past Ohio State first. Roll Tide!

Case in point…Oregon probably thought FSU would be a quality opponent when they scheduled them way back three weeks ago…

Yeah, I know. I like the Bucks, but they have next to zero chance of beating the Ducks, while Alabama probably is the only team that can give them a close game.

Not a bad effort at all. Great to see Tyner back, and I hope Devon Allen can play next week.

What a bunch of assholes.

Stay classy Florida State.

Truly. At least they didn’t punch anybody.

Well played Ducks. Your Speed was too much for FSU. Oregon was playing on another level.

Dumb comment. FSu could not stop oregon.

I found this clip interesting, if only because ESPN knew to fuzz out some of the coach’s lip movements. It didn’t look to me like any staff was close enough to hear actual words and tell the booth; maybe I’m wrong. Do they hire lip readers at all?

Speaking of lip readers, any out there to confirm the content of the exchange?

Grats Oregon! 'Notes played terrible today. Well, the offense played terribly; the defense didn’t even show up.

Well, they had a great run, and Winston, at least, showed some class. But I guess Helfrich knew what he was doing when he didn’t take my advice about rushing more linemen.
