Hmmmm… <light bulb over head> Maybe next year I’ll agree to plan it and route all the gifts to me! BWAH-HA-HA-HA!
Kidding aside, Edward the Head, did you really get purple, too?

I did actually. And I have already sent her stuff. If you look back a week or so I said ummm… when she said she had already gotten hers and I had only just sent it that morning!
Did you get a present from her?
I haven’t received anything yet. But there’s still time. Luckily the porch pirates aren’t a big problem near me.
<snerk> porch pirates. That’s a brilliant name for it. Yarr, we be going over to the wrap around Craftsman and pillage! Load up the Caravan and we’ll be off!
Yay! Came home to a lovely package from slightly askew! I very briefly thought about waiting but I was overcome by my inner 6 year old, sooo…
A beautiful pottery mug from a local artist and some home made peanut brittle!
Aaaand, a homemade ornament which is already on the tree!
Finally, a lovely card for the mantle. Thank you so much, I will enjoy the mug with my morning coffee on weekends (Now my official weekend mug) and the brittle is delicious!
FWIW, Ella our resident Hellcat must have smelled your cats on the box as she gave it a good going over!
Mine is going in the mail today. Squeaking in under the wire! I’m pretty sure it will get to its destination in time…
Das Glasperlenspiel, thank you for the package!
I got the package on Friday. It contained a bath bomb (which I could smell through the package!), a wonderful knitted hat, a card, an ornament, and some lovely beaded decorations.
Thank you!
I sent out my package two days ago. I think you all can guess who it’s going to.
It arrived today. I have put it under the tree to open on Christmas. Thanks.
justanothermike, thank you! I’m sorry for the late response; I was out of town until yesterday. And now I’m at work, so i just hope I can remember everything! The earrings are adorable (your friend made them? cool!), and I’m wearing the dandelion necklace today (I love jewelry that’s also a conversation piece)! Let’s see … lots of zinnia seeds - can’t wait to plant those - zinnias are gorgeous! I have not yet tried one of the bourbon chocolates, but my husband has (hmm, now that I think about it, I should have hidden the box - he liked it a LOT). An awesome, long letter - so unheard of lately, and I’m guilty of sending a really short note myself, but I loved it.
I think I probably have forgotten something … more later when I get home!
Thank you, thank you, Merry Christmas, and I’m glad you’ll have a piece of Pittsburgh in your kitchen when your wife makes homemade pierogies!
Whew! I was beginning to get a little worried that Canada Post had misdirected it! Glad you like the hat ‘n other things!
I shall now commence stalking the mail truck!
Just a question: What’s the best way to wash the hat? Thank you
It’s acrylic yarn (not wool - some people are allergic), so cool wash and dry flat. No dryer - acrylic stretches with too much heat.
Hee hee I throw a handful or two of individually wrapped peppermints in the box atop the prezzies and tissue paper. Specifically they are Bob’s Sweet Stripe soft peppermint candies that come in a giant box at the store. They smell yummy and look so festive.
PS I hope I used the quote feature correctly! We shall see…
Thank you Rocking Chair! I got a tea towel of the area RC lives in and a very neat spinning top. And a pretty darn great handmade pillow that is actually a Philly cheesesteak.
Yay Christmas!
they are indeed yummy. the cats also think they are fun to swat around.

As her husband I have to say that the top of the top has a cool design that swirls when the top of the top is spinning. It is indeed mesmerizing. I’m a fan of tops, and of this top. That’s a top top!
Hi Nayna! I’m so glad to hear that you got the package and enjoyed it. And also that your husband enjoyed it, but I have to say that was a rookie mistake. Never let your husband (myself included) know where the bourbon balls are. Or most delicious things, for that matter, lol. Glad to hear that the necklace was a hit. I thought the shape was unique and the real dandelion seeds suspended in it were cool. So you have things to enjoy today and in the summer as well when the zinnias grow. I hope yours attract as many butterflies and hummingbirds and such as ours do.
Merry Christmas!
