Dunno about the previews, but Nina isn’t dead. There was a standoff and she held Jack hostage. A sniper shot her but didn’t kill her. The cops took her away and she and Jack had that last look…
I’m pretty sure that she and Scruffy had already been arrested, so she was talking to Jack from the police station (“Daddy come get me…”) – I’m sure the cops would have confiscated any phone that boyfriend might have had.
As for Nina, rsvp9146, the Prez plans to honor the original deal (pardon her for the original crimes) if they stop the bomb, but in the meantime, he ordered her to be taken to L.A., where she could share the same fate as the people she has endangered.
Did we have these episode-by-episode threads for the first season? I’ve watched 12:00-8:00 AM of season one today, and I wanted to read the 24 Club’s commentary. I searched Knead’s posts, and only found this season. Or did the 24 threads just pop up from time to time?
There was a thread for every episode last year, but not put together with handy-dandy links like Knead does for us every week.
Can’t search with “24” because that’s too short. Try looking up Monstre’s posts in CF 6 months old or older. I’d say use Biggirl, but I’m not sure if I posted in all of them.
Nope, Biggirl (and Troy) – don’t bother searching on me. I wasn’t watching the first season. I checked out the first episode of season 2, just for the heck of it (on the Monday night replay of the premiere on Fox, no less), and that’s when I got hooked.
Now I’m an addict. 24 is liquid crack. I’ll be watching the first season sometime soon, myself, now that I have the DVD set. 
I searched Cafe Society for “Jack” and “Nina,” I figured that should be pretty inclusive for the 24 threads. If’n I get around to it, and if anyone would bother using it, I’ll set up a link page for all your SDMB 24 needs.

Brief hijack: So I never saw any of last season. I saw a couple of episodes this season, got hooked, and then Tivo and my own stupidity conspired to keep me from seeing any more*. I’ve tried reading the recaps on Television Without Pity, but they use their clever little nicknames for everybody, which is no help for those of us who haven’t even figured out the characters’ real names yet.
What happened to the president’s assistant, the one who used to play Ensign Ro on “Star Trek”? She was arguing with the president’s ex-wife for a while, and all of a sudden she’s no longer there.
And at the risk of sharing too much: this show rocks, but may be too much for me. I can feel my testicles constrict up into my body like 2 minutes into each episode, and they don’t come back down until the show’s over and they’re sure it’s safe.
- Note: make the season pass for “24” a higher priority than the season pass for “Smallville.” That records one show, then catches the repeats for “Smallville” on Sundays. Idiot.

But to quickly answer your question, she was back this week. Just didn’t do much other than tell Ex-Mrs. Palmer that she didn’t know what the Prez had in mind for the guy he was questioning.
Everyone always makes reference to her being on Star Trek. Am I the only one that recalls her as the ME on Homicide? Or her star-making turn in Escape From L.A.?
I head an interview today with BITCH (president’s ex) and while she can’t give any thting away she mentioned that the last eposide will be a cliffhanger for day three

I’m gonna post this info a few different places, not knowing who might be affected. Please forgive the cross-posting.
I was trying to tape the 11:00 p.m. ET Monday night rerun just now on FX. For some unknown reason, they were airing NASCAR qualifying or some such similiar nonsense, and didn’t start airing 24 until about 11:10 p.m. ET.
Be aware that if you had your VCR set to tape FX tonight from 11:00 to 12:00, you have about 10 minutes of NASCAR at the beginning and (probably, time will tell) are missing the last 10 minutes of 24.
FX is scheduled to re-run episode 11 again at 5:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday.
