Yeah, that was messing me up, too – I could have sworn that earlier they were saying it was in Mexico, then suddenly the caption says New Mexico, and also I thought a character might have said New Mexico, too…?

Gosh, I hope that Geography classes in schools are still teaching the names of the states…

I thought Mexico too until last episode. How many people try to escape the authorities by fleeing to NEW Mexico???

           If what you say is true, they should hurry up and just say that already or else it will be too late for me to revive any interest in these completely boring and uninteresting subplot.

And sorry for the double post, but yes, I clearly remember the caption saying NEW Mexico. This also confused me. Fleeing to New Mexico for cover? It had to be a misprint. I was almost sure earlier in the show it was Mexico, not New Mexico

Ok, according to http://www.fox.com/24/guide.html Jack, the Salazars, and Las Nieves are in Mexico, not New Mexico.

Of course Google says Las Nieves is in Spain, but let’s not get into that.
