Y’know, I do too. I expected her to be “the only person” Jack could trust, and while I was pleasantly surprised, I found Chloe’s character to be way more enjoyable this year than last. She’s gotta come back at some point, doesn’t she?
Me too – I found myself looking forward to her snarky remarks this season. Probably since there are so many more annoying goobs at CTU this year, so she could be the one to put them in their place. “Amateur!”
But I’m not sure she’s coming back. I have a feeling the writers only kept her this year for the beginning, as Jack’s one “trusted resource” still inside CTU. And it looks like maybe she’s served her purpose – which was to keep Jack “connected” with CTU resources until things got to the point where Driscoll pretty much had to support him.
But now I’d love to see her come back and take a few more I-Told-You-So shots at the remaining CTU staff. 
I’m a Chloe-lover too. She is definitely missed. And we never found out what happened to her poor unlucky nerd friend, after Jack saved him!
I think I miss Kim, too.
I mean, sure she wasn’t too bright and all, especially in season 2. But nobody could run like Kim. Run, Kim, run. :::sigh:::
Plus, it was always fun hearing dad tell her things like, “Okay, now shoot him again.”
I definitely miss Michelle. None of the current batch of CTU babes can touch her. They all pale in comparison.
I’m pretty sure Michelle will make an appearance again this year. The IMDB indicates she will be back. If Tony is back, it makes sense that she will pop in some time. Either they will get back together or she will be claiming his body for a funeral, I guess.
My friend who is a honcho at a FOX owned and operated station says the actress who plays Chloe got a part in a movie, so she had to be written out of 24 temporarily, but she will be back.
Michelle will be back. After Driscoll’s daughter suicides, Driscoll loses it and is removed from her position, which is temporarily filled by TONY! He stays in charge for a couple hours (episodes) until a replacement is found…and that replacement is none other than Michelle. And the sparks will fly…

[spoiler]Yeah, I knew already that Michelle would be back this season, just not when. And the IMDB has not been totally accurate – I assume their advance listings are based on the same rumors anybody else can dig up on the web. They originally had Michelle listed as guesting on episode 8 or 9. Obviously that didn’t happen!
But at the start of the season, I did see a couple of promo clips, done by Carlos Bernard and Reiko Aylesworth, both saying something to the effect of “Watch season 4 of 24! I’m in it.”[/spoiler]
