24: Season 4: Episode 20 (2:00am - 3:00am)

OK, this is my first season of 24 I’ve ever watched. I’ve got two questions:

1. Is it always like this?? (high strung, freaky, etc)

and

2. Why did Chloe get fired? I actually started watching this season on the episode where Jack freed Audrey and her dad from the terrorists. So i guess Chloe was fired before this episode. But I don’t know why.
   I’m enjoying it so far. But i scream at the television often.

1. Yes, it’s designed to be high strung and freaky
2. Chloe was fired initially because she disobeyed the order of the CTU supervisor from earlier in the day (Erin Driscoll) because she was helping Jack on one of his many rogue missions.

We’re running dangerously low on humorous nicknames here. I miss the good old days of the Season One threads, with my all-time favorite Doper 24 nickname: The Mandible.

My approximate prediction for the last line of this season, spoken while standing over the smoldering, radioactive remains of Los Angeles, which has been destroyed by a Chinese nuke:
Curtis- “Oh SHIT! I just remembered I told Behrooz I’d watch after him like seven hours ago!”

That’s great! Before I saw this I had been wondering why they never show Jack stopping off at Starbucks for a grande double espresso or something, how else does he stay awake and hyper for so long? It would explain a lot.

This happens to be my first season of ‘24’ as well. Very… um… interesting? Personally, I like a show where most people make fun of how unrealistic it is. But maybe that’s just me :D.
