24: Season 4: Episode 20 (2:00am - 3:00am)

Make sure you catch seasons 1 and 2.

And in season 2, take a drink every time Kim does something stupid.

And when he dies of alcohol poisioning, I hope you’ll be happy.

Yeah… um… just take away his car keys, first…

…or a million people will die!!!

Drop the car keys now!

Yes sir!

Say what happened to the EMP device? The one that blacked out most of Downtown L.A.? Did the DWP guys come out and just turn everything back on.

I work in Downtown L.A. and I’m hoping that if one of these go off, I would be guaranteed a few days off.

BobT – Yeah, I’ve been wondering about that, too. They seem to have an endless supply of LAPD wherever they need them (“Have LAPD tighten the perimeter – we have to keep Marwan from escaping… again…”), even though you’d think that a lot of the police force would still be tied up trying to restore order, stop looting, etc etc in the blackout zone. Which was rather large.

On the other hand, they never seem to have enough available to have a few squad cars swing by Jack & Redshirt X’s latest raid…

Make up your minds, people…

OR MILLIONS WILL DIE!

-Joe, wanted his turn

Aw Christ. I just read a spoiler I wish I hadn’t.

Marwan gets away AGAIN for Christ’s sake! Jesus, this season sucks.

Kinda hard to run holding pressure points, isn’t it?

Worse. He is rescued before they leave the warehouse by MORE of his seemingly endless supply of henchmen, and taken to yet ANOTHER hideout. Christ, what is this fucker, Professor goddamned Moriarty?

Despite all the problems with this year’s story, I would still rather watch 24 than any other one hour drama. After nearly 200 episodes of MST3K, I can appreciate bad scripts.

I dunno, I think Deadwood and The Shield have that honor for me this season. I am almost ready to skip the last three hours of 24 at this point. I have a nasty feeling how the season is going to end and I don’t need to see yet another tragic ending to a season of 24. The first time, it was cool because it was rarely done. Now it’s becoming trite and cliched.

I tried to watch Deadwood, but just couldn’t get into it. I’m not much into Westerns. Ditto the Shield and cop shows.

Whoa.
Somebody define “Tragic Ending”.
I’m expecting Truth and Justice to Triumph.

I’m expecting Tony and/or Michelle to die and Jack to turn himself into the Chinese government and say he did the kidnapping as a rogue operation with no higher authority involved. The spoilers are hinting towards just such an ending.

If the spoiler I read is correct:

Soulpatch buys the farm.

Yes, I am 100% sure THAT will happen. But I have heard talk that Michelle commits suicide because she let him die rather than give into the demands of Mandy, who was holding him hostage.

Well, that’s gonna suck.
